A Sad Notice

I have lived an extended life online, thus I have ran into a number of people. While I could commend someone for standing up for a group that they administer and wish to hold leadership over under their rule - there has to be a line. The few interactions I had with said person were never bad - then again who could say that someone who has been more lurking than anything in past months could have negative/positive interaction with anyone so far?
When the flux of argument and bickering occurred with my Chapter I was still fresh here. As such I took a step back and watched, hoping that things would line out. However in the end there is a fine line of separation between the brothers of my chapter and the group here. As you can see, I am but the third Blood Angel that has made a post - but I think of it not as posting as a Chapter Member, but more as a person. I hate that my chapter seems to be on the opposite side of some great rift in the ground from the community that I am growing to enjoy visiting on a regular basis each day, but to what ends can a single person stretch to ignite any change? I digress.
I know not the entire detail nor nature of this person, but seeing a community shed shard after shard of itself, only to recover and commit the same act again.. it's a bit saddening. There needs to be a realization that we are people, indeed. Be you a member of a chapter, a chapter leader, officer, or without a chapter at all - you should show respect and thus you will receive respect. Things are often far too over-analyzed and it always ends up with feelings hurt, people turning their backs on the community, and just overall negative. Put the respect of other members, no, brothers before you - Think about your actions and how they may effect those around you before you act. It is a tall order and it's impossible to keep each and every single person happy, but when dealing with those who are unhappy - treat them with the same respect you would wish to be shown if you were in their shoes. However, the golden rule here is two sided ; if you lack respect then it's very likely that you will not receive any in return.
To whatever ends - I am Keiya, a Blood Angel, and a member of this community. I wish only to meet, greet, and enjoy. If I can contribute in any way then just give me a task and I will set my hands to work. I hate to read such things so, my idea would be to find ways to counter such events in the future by addressing them today.

It's a Kodak moment;)I have been absent for the past day or so with other projects, and though I am a bit late as well as highly unfamiliar with quite a few of the active members here - let this be seen as Unbias.

You had just joined, so you would not know the reasons for the rift although one of those reasons has finally been removed.

When I got a warning about my sig I was confused as the sig is the same one I have used on many different forums. I could probably make it work but have changed it to something smaller. I did not look at it as a personal attack on me or my freedom to control my profile. All I saw was a small issue with the site that I didn't understand. I'm not tech savvy, I have no idea why a 70 character limit exists but pictures are allowed (they seem bigger in size to me than little letters). If I really cared about the problem I would ask those who do know to explain it to me. Since I don't, I didn't bother and changed it without comment. Take that approach to any problem here, look at your own ignorance of the situation and seek to remove that ignorance before tackling the problem. If you aren't willing to learn about the other side you have no right to challenge it.
I started the gamer picture thread a while ago to try and help remind all of us that behind our glorious sigs banners and K/D ratios we are all just a bunch of people who are gamers. As regular people we are going to have different opinions on how things should work. Sometimes we won't get our way but that's just life. I've tried to get my workplace to be better run but got harsh words in return. Did I quit? No, I accept that my opinion has been noted and rejected by those above me, but stay at work because I love my job. Same with this place, you may not agree with a ruling but if you love Space Marine or anything else this site brings you should stay for the fun side of it. Better yet you even get more say in this community than you will in most other groups you are part of out there.
The fact we are still getting heated over things involving our favourite game and its home on the internet greatly saddens me. We are here for fun! People that play with me online know that once I start getting mad at the game for whatever reason I will normally leave at that point with a comment about my becoming upset. Same applies here; you get mad take a break from the keyboard and come back clear headed. I come back to Space Marine and have fun the next day even if I was screaming at the lag and vengeance launchers the day before.
At the end of the day I wish all of you the best and hope that each person directly affected can find a resolution that keeps the game and Gothic Wars fun for them. Good luck to the Angels of Redemption and all the other Dark Angels! Anytime someone wants a game let me know!
Damn few, and they're all dead!

(This post was removed by Mods, So Cru removed the quote. Quite vulgar, immature and not constructive in the slightest)
This might not be appropriate but... I REALLY want to know what a "slap dick" is. I tried Google and the results were... vague.
In serious regard - No need to get hostile. Voice harsh words won't gain anything but hostile reaction....save for my case, but I'm just sarcastic.

I know what you mean, but do we really want to know? Doesn't sound comfortable really.
