Good day everyone.

Me and fuzzy are glad to announce that the transformers thread is made and ready to roll . Thanks to the community for making this idea happen and thanks to Cru for making this happen so quickly even though he's got problems to attend to.

Now two things to mention, firstly due to resent events I feel like I have to say this: No arguments or grudges on Space Marine will be carried over to Transformers. If you don't like someone, fine however leave arguments like that on Space Marine, not here. If you have strained relations with another Chapter on Space Marine, it doesn't matter on this game. We're all here to play Transformers.

Secondly is how this is going to work. Everyone who is intrested in this game and wants to play will have to post in the 'Autobot or Decepticon?' thread stating if they are becoming a Autobot or Decepticon. On the 25th (one day after the UK releace of the game) that thread will be closed and the rosters for both sides will be made with I leading the Autobots while Decepticons will be lead by fu22y. If anyone wants to join Autobots or Decepticons after the 25th then it must be done by regular means (recruiting online, PM'ing leaders etc). The organisation of the factions will be separate and done by their own means. For now it will stay the two factions although if this becomes massive then the Autobots/Decepticons will be split into squads that will be counted separate factions.

OH YEAH!!!! I'll tell you guys about the classes there are in the game too.
Ok so first off i'll start with the Infiltrator class, basically they're the hitmen/snipers of the game. Their mode of transportation consists with sports cars and muscle cars, weapons usually consist with fully automatic CC weapons and precision distance weapons. The main specialty of this class is to cause panic and chaos, your small size makes you really hard to hit and your cloaking or EMP grenade helps for quick getaways or causing more chaos wether it be up close with shotty or at a distance with snipes. However since their vehicle form is smaller than some of the bigger classes they only have 300 health, putting them at the bottom along with scientists for armor strength.
Next lets talk about the noob class, the Destroyer is the explosive specialist of the game considering it has nothing but bazookas, rocket lawnchairs, grenade lawnchairs, and artillery cannons. Their vehicle forms consist with trucks, humvees, and jeeps. Abilities are either a a one-sided barrrier you and your teammates can shoot through or you hover in the air for a moment before using your girth to flatten anyone stupid enough to be near or below you when you come back down. Their health is an improvement over the more delicate infiltrator class with 400 health. This guy specializes in clearing out a room full of people with enough explosive weaponry to level a small moon.
Now let's move onto the biggest guys in the game, the Titan class. These guys have the most armor out of all the classes with a whopping 500 health and their loadouts are extremely effective usually consisting of chainguns, lightning cannons, Nurgle's boomstick (slime cannon), and my favorite a vampire shotty that drains your enemy's health and give it to you. Their overall superior firepower come at the price of low mobility since they all transform into hover tanks, their abilities consist of a temporary tornado of melee that destrolishes anything within arms reach to shreds within 3-6 seconds, or an arm mounted shield that blocks enemy fire for the more defensive terminators. Recommended use as the heavy hitter who stays in the middle of the fight.
And lastly lets talk about the fliers of Cybertron, the Scientist class. Their vehicle form is the highly prized jet form which packs the highest mobility in the game, but as its a flier they also rank amongst the most delicate classes. (300 health, same as Infiltrator) But as a young bot once said "The least likely can be the most deadly" as shown by their mobility, weaponry and abilities. The Scientist's weapons consist with burst rifles, Nurgle spit balls (location tracking acid pistol), assault rifles, and a tron disc launcher which can launch up to 3 discs at once. The abilities of the Scientist consist of a healing beam for other troops or a sentry turret that can be setup and packed away at will. The scientist is meant to be played as a support class to heal teammates or provide extra cover fire from a distance as marksmen.

Anyone find FoC a bit too easy? Because I had some games earlier and I destroyed the enemy.
I faced little to no threats.
In a game I only needed to get an energon cube once and that is because I had taken 50 damage.
In that game I got 18 kills - 0 deaths....

It feels like I have already mastered it in a way.

But still killing Autobots is always fun. If you ever need a Decepticon Path Blaster just ask =)

It just goes to show that our skills in space marine transfer over to FoC since we've always been adapted to learning how to play the strengths of certain classes. by the way, what class were you using?

I was using an Infiltrator. mainly Path Blaster. Never really liked the Scatter Blaster as it is pretty much just a spraying shotgun (They bore me very fast...) I forgot I did use an Energon Recharger at one point. Used it when a Titan and Scientist took me by surprise but because I was alert and godly I shot and hit them.

Anyone know what time on Friday they are going to add the patch? Because I will probably be on at midnight. Do you think they will do it straight away?!

Well I cannot wait for the level increase =) I wonder if it will reset people to level 1. I hope it does =D
It will be like going Prime Mode except you haven't reached level 25 in all classes and you will not get a achievement =P

Would be more fun to work your way back up again even though it would only take a few games to reach level 6 in a class.

Wanted to get the megatron and Optimus to use online by preordering from GameStop but its £40 and I'm on holiday on the Saturday after aswell so still wouldnt be able to play for like a week after anyway :/
