In the grim darkness of the 41st millennium there is only war....
The Gallius Sector, a large region of space within the Segmentum Tempestus , home to a plethora of worlds. A sector of the Milky Way that has never known peace. War is raged on all sides as fourthree system, each vital to both the Gallius Sector and it's neighbors, are contested for by a deluge of races.
In the Brugham System, Orks from the Feral World of Brugham IV and Maestus attack with never before seen numbers and Unity, A Warboss by the name of Zur'Log Redmawz has entered the system from seemingly nowhere and united the Greenskins of Brugham IV and Maestus along with the numerous tribes inhabiting their orbiting moons. This unity combined with the Warboss's unusually keen intellect of War may prove to tip the scales of their Gridlock with the Imperial Guard of Brugham II, the Desert Lancers, led by Lord Commander Nirtile Nairai, who even now are just recovering from the after affects of a Tyranid Splinter Fleet. Unknown to both Greenskins and Imperial Guard, the Tyranid Incursion thus far was but a vanguard of the main fleet that heads towards the planet from the southern rim of the System. Should the Brugham System, a system valued for it's output of Minerals,Munitions, Vehicles, and Weaponry , fall, the entire sector would lose it's main source of armament, and would collapse. En-Route to the system's defense is a combined Adeptus Astartes task-force of Dark Angels, Ultramarines, Blood Ravens, and Flesh Tearer's, whose aid will prove invaluable in the fate of the system.
The Trandasin System faces dire threats of it's own. From the Hive World of New Eden, corruption has emerged, and within weeks consumed the entire planet. Due to the machinations of numerous chaos cults, a warp storm has erupted over the planet, engulfing both it and it's three inhabited moons, Aileta, Loloong, and Gustav. The citizens and military forces of the inhabited worlds have fallen to the taint of Chaos, and their newly found worship has invited daemons of all kind into the system. Even now numerous war bands of chaos space marines move towards the Sector to stake their claims. The Black Legion, Alpha Legion, Word Bearers are but three of the large war bands, with a multitude of minor war bands follow behind. With the entire system threatened by the Chaos filth, the Hands of the Inquisition move to intercept and eliminate the taint. A joint alliance of the Ordo Malleus and Ordo Ordo Hereticus has seen to the deployment of the Sisters of Battle's Order of the Bloody Rose and a Brotherhood of Grey Knights, along with thousands of Inquisitorial Storm Troopers. To bolster their strength, they have also called upon the Exorcist and Red Hunters, Two Space Marine Chapters with close ties to the Inquisition, to bolster their strength. However, Chaos is not the only threat within the Trandasin System.
The sheer power and scale of the Warp Storm itself has awoken a much more ancient evil on the sands of Trandasin V, located near the edge of the system. The uninhabited dead world has now proven to be a Tomb World, inhabited by thousands of constructs of the undying Necron. Awoken from their slumber, they now march on from the planet, preparing to reclaim the Worlds of the Gallius Sector which they believe to theirs by claim. Their mere presence attracts the nearby Eldar of the Biel-Tan Craft World. The Biel-Tan rush to the Sector to meet their Ancient Foe and strike them down with the wrath of their Bloody Handed God before they can fully mobilize, less they become unstoppable. The Inquisitorial Force in the System , now aware of the Necron's presence have requested the aid of the Astartes. Answering their call, the Spave Wolves , Executioners Red Scorpion and the Salamander now move into the system to handle both the Necrons and Eldar while the Inquisition deals with the Forces of Chaos themselves.
On three front's the System of Brutea is tormented. Near the Eastern Fringe of the Sector, the Tau move into the system, with the use of lightning tactics , the Forces of the Greater Good are able to conquer the World of Husar, unable to match the technology of the Tau, the World is quick to surrender, the cowardly nobility of the World pledging their allegiance to the Greater Good. Fortifying Husar and converting it's population as swiftly as possible, the Tau will use Husar as a beach head for their forces to move in and claim the rest of the System. From Brutea I,II, and III, the Imperial Forces are appalled by the cowardice of Husar and move towards engage. Their invasion of the planet will be stalled however as the Kabals of the Dark Eldar emerge from the darkness, attracted by violence within the Sector and seeing this as an opportunity to take as much plunder and slaves as they can, the Dark Eldar attack both Tau and Imperial Forces from seemingly all sides. Their use of speed and power giving them an edge in Ship to Ship Combat, with the Imperial Worlds severely undermanned, the Dark Eldar attack with no remorse. From the Western Rim, another faction advances towards Brutea. A large force of World Eaters moves towards the Sector, consisting of thousands of Khornate Berserkers, daemons, mutants and cultist move in system to spill the blood of their enemy for their Brutal God. Led by a Khornate Champion simply named Skorge, they attack all who stand before them, throwing themselves at both Tau, Dark Eldar, and Imperials, not caring for their losses. To Counter these, the Imperium has sent forth numerous Regiments of the Imperial Guard, as well as any Space Marine Chapter that can be spared. The Angels of Redemption, Imperial Fist, Angels of Absolution, and Mortificators are several of the Chapters that now move to aid the citizens of the Imperium.
To bolster the Imperial Strength in the system, Two Crusades of Black Templars led by Aqua and Woody have now moved into the Sector, spreading themselves through out the entire system to engage whatever xeno or heretical force that comes across their path. Many other Astartes Chapters and Guard Regiments move in to aid as well, bolstering the Imperial Forces .
No matter what enemy they face, the Imperial Forces within the Gallius Sector cannot fail, lest billions of the Emperor's Faithful lose their lives, and Imperium loses a valuable region of Space.
(Alright then, what a cluster fuck of races @__@ , anyways this is a new campaign that will be hosted by myself for the Dawn of War Players on Gothic Wars. Everytime we have a game night, I'll Write a short summary/story/report, that details the battle. I look forward to playing with anyone that comes to the games, and I only wish the story wasn't jumbled. I'll probably edit and work it out more later. )
