"Commander - Assumed permission to engage pods" the gunship shoots towards the pods and with a quick flick slammed the missile into a pod, which dropped from the sky. he unleashed his own missiles at another set of 3 pods, obliterating two but grazing the third. running a scan to determine the leader he had seen on the platform he determined last pod. with a deft manoeuvre with gravity beam, captured the pod and used a tiny EMP to lock him inside

Moving up to Seig's position, "Commander, we have a situation that requires my attention in main control, I can start making my way there now if your presence is required else where."

E220 hits the ground and disembarks his pod, carefully negotiating his way past the charred remains of the men who had been met in the initial assault. He steadily goes towards the control centre, where he is required more heavily than anywhere else. He messages the sergeant over the comms "sergeant, please be aware that my skills are being used on the ground here, in regards to making sure the platform maintains stability after such an assault. Over"

Seig looked up as he watched the pods pop under the fire of the gunship. The blood and remains of the men seemingly froze instantly as their atmospheric sealed suits were ruptured and torn asunder from the large guns of the ship. As a singular pod was taken captive, he smirked. " Gunship, this is Lt.Commander Seig Akai. Good work. Get a trace on the escaping few and monitor where they're headed. Those pods are designed to be picked up - not Zero-Atmosphere maintain. Over. "

On his HUD he saw Cullens' FOF tag approaching from his 'six.' "Roger that. We're going to clear this area out. I'm sure you and Celestia can handle whatever it is she's brought to your attention. " He began checking the positions of his squad, no wiser about the seismic activity that the others were alerted to.

The Staff Sergeant was in the middle of coordinating his mech-units to keep them at bay when he picked up the androids' signal. Haaru closed his eyes as his pod came to a halt while listening to the rampant barrage of gunfire. "Operation Phase II - Begin. " He stated before permanently disconnecting his Com link to whatever allies he had been communicating with as well as scrambling their tracerts. He laid his head back, allowing his helmet to shift a bit. "And now the fun starts."

With little more than a nod of the head, Cullen was moving again. But not in the fashion he had moved in with the Reapers, he moved with purpose and caution now. Knowing that they needed to find out what was happening in that shaft. Already, a good 50 meters for the squad, he considered himself on his own, following his memory of the old platform and his designated waypoint that he had set on his HUD. "I just can't why the plates in this region would be shifting at this time. All of our analysis this month saw a tectonic shift to the north. Nothing, significant." Cullen thought aloud.

Finally arriving at turbo lift #1, Cullen hesitated a moment. He was heading to main platform control if someone was there monitoring the platform, they certainly knew he was coming. "I'll be right with you!" Cullen said to a suspended security monitor and entered the lift.

The platform control room was a medium security area permitting only authorized personnel. Cullen gave a deft wave of his embedded clearance chip in his right plam and the sliding security door opened like always. The room was quite and as it seemed nothing in the room was active. "This day keeps getting better and better, what could go wrong?" He said with a chuckle. After a quick scan of the room, checking for organics, Cullen decide he was again alone and made for the system sensors. Activating monitoring and databanks was quick work, and soon had the system up and running. "Celestia, this is Cullen. #3 platform monitoring coming on line now. Mobile network patch to upload in 6 mikes. Standing by fo..." Cullen stopped sending and killed the transmission. Someone had just exited the turbo lift #1 and was quickly approaching the, now shut, main platform control security doors. Cullen, taking his eye from the feed of the entrance security monitor, turned and accessed the security panel. At that, massive blast doors, slid over the top of the security doors. Slamming with a bang, Cullen had also initiated a biometric scan of the intruder for and ID. Reading the results of the scan and watching the man halt outside the blast doors with a perplexed look on his face. He opened up a Public address channel for the entrance way. "You got my blood up there for a second Android, give me your designation and I will clear you through the system."

"I am sorry engineer cullen," the android replies "I am designate E220-F. I'm here to help you analyse and fix the situation of tectonic disturbance in the anterior shaft?"

Cullen ran another scan to ensure that the Androids designation matched what he had been told. "E220-F, huh we'll see." He said as he ran the scan. When the scan confirmed the designation, Cullen radioed Celestia. "Celestia, I have a toolbox down here, designation E220-F. Confirming he's on our side, copy?"

Celestia scanned the androids' signature as a confirmation and formed her Avatar in the corner of Cullens' HUD. " Yes. I've requested his presence here. I have a feeling that we can use him. " She pulled up a small overlay in his HUD and pointed out his designations. " I believe we can use him to pinpoint the issue - Much more sensitive equipment than flesh and bone. "

Seig moved back to where the pods launched and began tapping away at the overcall vector data pad. 'I believe I can tra....wait...' He looked up at the balls of fire streaking into the atmosphere and it hit him. " Gunship - Get the captive to the station. Get him in a level VI lockdown and have a squad track those pods. They're being picked up - There's something up there that we just can't see. Do -not- engage. I want to see what's snatching them."

Kayle tilted his head and walked towards Seig. " Sir, Risky has reported in. They're all clean. platform is clear. "

Seig nodded and spun around on his heels, slinging his rifle over his shoulder. "Miranda - Link up with the engineer and make sure they have what they need. Robin, I want you with Anders and myself. We're hitting the station to investigate who this captive is and what he has to say."

In unison, he got his acknowledgement lights from the team and watched his trackers as Anders and Robin started moving his way. Miranda moved at a slower pace as she broadcast over open-com. "Well, engineer boy - Looks like we have another date!"

Seig closed his private com and opened one with the Station fleet. "Platform is clear. Perform scanning sweeps over other platforms. Ensure that no other enemy has set a foot on this soil. We need pickup at Alpha-Two-Point-Oh-Six."

"Acknowledged Commander" the gunship whacks the atmosphere like a sledgehammer and creates a sonic-boom with the blunt end of his craft. he clicks comms to the Flight Control "Gunship 'Hammer of Aeon (0091720)' requesting permission to enter the Custody Hangar at speed. Priority target on board requires level VI Lockdown on him. Lt. Commander Seig Akai will be joining us for interrogation shortly."

Command replied "Gunship 'Hammer of Aeon' (0091720) your request is approved and we will have a full Custodes squad to take the prisoner to his cell."

The gunship comes in fast and lands down in the hangar. The pilot threw his canopy open and jumps out with a rifle taken from the cockpit with folding stock and pops the rear door and pops the pod open as the Custodes ran in and grabbed the prisoner, threw him to the ground and put on stun cuffs and Shock anklets and neck-brace. and marched him with the pilots escort to his cell and threw him in, leaving the cuffs and shock gear on. activated solid door and energy repulsion door

Seig, Anderson, and Robin all boarded the transport ship that had come to pick them up. As they stood in the carrier bay, Seig braced himself on the hull and swayed against the momentum of the ships' ascent into the air and towards the atmosphere. With Titan narrowing below him on the other side of the view-port, he shook his head and looked towards Anders and Robin who were doing the same. It was time they got some answers.

Haaru hit the ground and was rendered helpless by the equipment strapped to him. His face remained emotionless as he was picked up and drug through the station at gunpoint. Reaching the holding cell, he was tossed haphazardly within and the door seal. As a bit of blood leaked from a fresh wound on his forehead, he righted himself and stood to his feet. With hands linked behind his back, he tossed his head back - helmet having been removed to place the security collar in place - to free his face of the blood-red hair of his head. Intricate braids and ornaments rattled as he did so, falling into place over his back and shoulders like a lions' mane.

Celestia began going over data as it was becoming available to her. As she sent fragments of herself in multiple directions she halted at a single pulse and cycled twice before realizing what the feedback was. Cullen, again, approached the main controls when he received Miranda's comms. "Sounds good Miranda, but next time you buy." Cullen joked.

The security doors slid open with a hiss and the Android entered the room. "Alright toolbox, I thought I would start with a scan of the shaft floor, to see what exactly what we're looking at the plates. Where do you think you services would best be applied?"

"Hum, lets see here." Cullen thought aloud as he brought up a live environmental scan. It took Cullen a second to gather his thoughts about what he was seeing. "You are correct, Celestia! There seems to be something creating an artificial pulse down there that is causing a reaction with 212. I have never seen anything like it, the 212 is expanding and contracting so much that Titan's tectonic plates are shifting. And the pulsing seems to be growing in intensity!"

"theoretical: particle 212 has been given a form of elctromagnetiv growth stimulant." blurts E220 "I estimate that if the growth cannot be stopped the platform will destabilise within 6 hours, and if the effect continues, the surface of titan will crack, exposing magma to the gases in the atmosphere, causing a class delta planetary event. Titan would be lost."

As the Reapers entered the hangar in the transport ship, the sides of the bay dropped. Feet were on the station alloy floor immediately, alloy against alloy, slapping against immovable forces as the three made their way past busy security and stoic infantry. Seig led the team towards the holding cells - rounding the corner to see the gunship pilot with his weapon and the security team set up around the cell doorway.

Approaching the door, Robin passed a hand in front of the scanner causing the door separate upon identifying her. Inside stood the fire-maned Haaru, his eyes closed and head tilted back ever so slightly. Anders proceeded inside, rounding the doorway and bringing his weapon to bare on the man. Seig passed in secondly, walking past Anders, raising his hand, and wrapping his fingers around the mans' throat. Robin turned and looked at the guards and simply nodded her head once to the left as a 'No'.

Seig had been fuming the entire way to the station and his anger had risen to peaks it hadn't in a long time. Only twice before had an enemy ever set foot on Titan under his watchful eye and that was with carefully orchestrated pacts and near battle fleet sized attacks. This was the first time it had ever been infiltrated to this degree, and he still had no idea what the motive was. He lifted the man from the ground - staring him down through the shifting lens of his helmet. " What the HELL were you doing on my moon?" he roared. He slammed the man back into the solid alloy wall of the cell with more fore than he should have used.

Haaru didn't struggle, he simply exhaled as much as he could when the impact came. The ranger was making sure not to close his windpipe - good. He would want to hear what he had to say. " Titan....is not your moon. It's none of ours. In fact, are you truly certain it's even what you believe it to be? "

Seig shifted him as if a ragdoll, pulling him away from the wall and slamming him back into it with the grip of his right hand. " Stop spewing bullshit and answer my damn question!"

" You'll find out... soon enough. " He smiled and opened his crystal blue eyes. Almost on queue, Phase III red strobes appeared and the alert picked up in Celestias' voice to announce the Phase III alert. " Pathetic maggot. Titan will be the end of you all. "

Celestia took the androids' input with the utmost care and cycled through a few of the sensors. " But why? Who would want to cause a collapse on this scale? And what could they have even used? "

As she began scanning the scopes that this station held, she gave admiration to the way the engineer had setup everything. It was so efficient. She spent too much of her concentration on the monitoring software of the station and rarely ever allowed her fragments to extend this far down to the moon.

" Ey. I'm gettin' some odd chatter from tha team. You boys should like-lee hear this." Miranda turned on her external speakers to share the R.e.a.p.e.r direct neural-com-link. First they heard the discussion back and forth between Seig as he asked Haaru his question, then the voice of Kayle : " There's... something in the pit. Something..no...'somethings' are down there."

A video projection port opened above the shifting eye of Mirandas' helmet and displayed a projected video of what Kayle was seeing. Deep within the pit, twisting blueish-green light began to pulse and rise, as if a cloud, upwards. Kayles' optics zoomed in as closely as it could - the tale-tell sightings of 212 in all of it's raw, blueish-emerald glory. However, from within the mist and light figures were clawing their way up the pit walls. Still a ways down but steadily and slowly making their way up.. these figures were hulking. "What.. the hell?"

Haaru's voice announced from Mirandas' link after being relayed through Seigs'. " You'll find out... soon enough. "

Celestias' avatar in Cullens' HUD sat with eyes wide for a moment before sending the alert to the station for the Phase III fallout. " There's....This is no seismic shift. Something is waking up..."

"celestia," the android sends "i would surmise that a loss of titan could cause a loss of particle 212 itself, and a disaster on that scale would tear humanity apart. If it is stimulating growth, we must run biological tests to check whether 212 is becomming sentient. If it is then we face an equally large problem."

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, Whoa! What the fuck?" Cullen looked away from the projection to read the environmental display. "Alright, boys and girls, this is no magic show. I'm getting motion readings coming up the pipe and judging by the projection they do not look friendly. " Cullen looked to Miranda, "Get your man in the hole out now, he has 1 minute to get inside the platform's lower shaft. The containment doors there, where the platform meets the moon, might hold them. But being as we have no intelligence on these bugs, don't hold your breath." Cullen began the containment lock down sequence, while working he spoke to Celestia again. "First thing, are we still looking at losing Titan or was what we saw this awakening and the moon is ok? Second, what are we looking like moon wide? Is this isolated to the #3 platform or do we have a much bigger problem?" Cullen stood by for Celestias response, standing over the control panel, gave a heavy rasping sigh. He looked over to Miranda, "Darling, I do believe, I may need a gun."

Celestia was bombarded from every side with new information. Platform numbers 1-6 were all displaying activity. Platform #3 was showing the most activity over all - likely due to it being the trigger point. Titan was reacting like one giant, alien volcano. She shot up displays throughout the room showing the different angles of the Moon, the glowing light obvious even through the stormy atmosphere from the station. She zipped from one data-bank to the next, taking complete cycles to process the new information. This was overwhelming. Was she truly the first AI...were they really the first sentient beings to witness alien life? And at this magnitude? There was no telling what, exactly, it was or how it functioned? How was it called upon? What awoke it if it was sleeping in the heart of the moon? Was 212 a living organism as theorized? Her logic center was going haywire.

" Cullen - Currently unconfirmed life forms are making their way up the shafts. Confirmed.
Addressing : Initiating evacuation of moon-wide presence.
Enforcement : Setting up Bioscanns on all pods.
Authority : Destroy all pods which are devoid of recognized human life.
Conclusion : Titan unstable. Perform preemptive lockdown. "

She turned her full attention to the encrypted message from the android. As she decoded it she paused. There was nothing she could say in response. The situation was speaking for itself and she was operating at 67% of her capacity through communication, evacuation, and rejunction with the orbital station.

We need all extraction points recognized and contained. " She turned to Cullen and nodded, unslingging her standard issue but highly modified Magnetic Rifle to the engineer. " She packs a hell of a kick. " She then turned and proceeded towards the door of the engineering center. " Heading to contain the unknown variable. Remain here unless otherwise evacuating. I don't want any blood on my hands. " As she walked through the door, she turned and returned a gaze at the two - holding her 'eyes' pulsing gaze until the door cut between them.

Seig looked out of the view-port towards the Moon as Haaru let out a soft laugh. All at once the chatter filled his neural link. Life forms? What? His helmets 'eye' shot back to Haaru and his grip tightened. " What the HELL is going on?! "

Haaru smirked, a bit of blood dribbling from the corner of his mouth. " I am the last of your worries now, Reaper." He stated the word mockingly. " I have awoken a force beyond your reasoning. Now you, me, all of us will be purged for our sins."

Seig gritted his teeth, the taste of coppery blood rising against his tongue as his gums began to bleed. " Get. Control. Of. Titan. NOW!" He announced to his team - acknowledgment lights winking across his HUD simultaneously.

He opened his station-wide access and roared into his helmets' com device. " Authorization : Lt.Commander Seig Akai - Reaper Designation 'Faintest'. Initiating 'Heaven Fall'. ALL FEET GROUNDSIDE. CONTAIN - EVALUATE."

As all ports on the station opened - the announcement for all available forces ranging from aerial support to infantry, down to the powered mechanical suits, boomed over the loud speakers and brought the station to life.

Seig tossed Haaru aside who hit the corner of the room and slumped, still chuckling. He marched passed Robin and Anders which were standing in shock at the light show of the Moon from the view-port. " Pilot!" He announced towards the gunship pilot who had captured the man. " Authorization to use level II armaments granted - Get us ground-side, NOW!"
