The mercenary smiles. "You struck me as a man of similar profession. However, as far as my tastes go, I do like redheads." He makes himself comfortable in the chair, allowing himself to enjoy the dancer's attentions. "You here for any particular reason, or just pleasure?" He nods toward the defaced badge. "Something tells me you aren't just here for the dancers...though.." He smiles at the girl, "..they are definitely worth the trip."

Taking a sip of whiskey, Dante leans back in his chair, still eying the dancers. "Location for one. I've been chasing this guy all over the place. In the past few days I've been attacked by thugs, a fucking spider...thing...and my sword was possessed by a lovely chap known as Nightmare. Speaking of which, if there is any information on acquiring a charm or something to ward him off, I'd pay extra for that alone. He's becoming a pain in the ass...." Thinking better of it, He adds "...seriously, don't ask."

"Wait, you work for him?" Dante raises an eyebrow. "Why exactly? I'm curious, being that all the rumors I've heard about him haven't painted him in the most flattering light." He takes a sip from his glass of whiskey, waiting for the response. Either way, He wanted to talk with Cain before taking him in. Something told Him there was more to this person than what His employers had told him.

I'd like to talk to him...meet this "monster" I've heard so much about, and draw my own conclusions. If Jack truly is on the up and up, I wouldn't be opposed to helping Him...though some kind of payment would be nice." Dante smirks. "I AM a mercenary after all." He refills his glass, eyes wandering to the dancers throughout the bar.

Though some of His words were a ploy to get himself closer to Cain, they brought to mind memories of a huntress He had worked alongside with in the past. They had an on again, off again relationship. Recently, it was more off than on. He hadn't seen her since she had gone on a solo gig. Perhaps fate would bring the two of them together again.

When are we going?" He wasn't in the mood for any more bullshit. He was going to meet Cain one way or another...what would happen during that meeting He would leave to fate.

" I know a lot of chaps she's had "things " with and they usually end up dead your lucky."
