Why hello there fellow RPer's and welcome to this quick post to explain a recent change in the RP thread section that you have likely already noticed if you frequent the Casual RP section or tend to notice changes at all. Below I will detail what these changes are, as minor as they are, to an understandable level.
• The Casual Roleplaying Section
The Casual Rp section is exactly the same as it was before excluding Out of Character (OOC) and other Non-RP based threads. This includes but is not limited to RP conversations, discussion, feelers, or collaboration threads. This section will now be maintained specifically in accordance with RP based threads. In this section you can continue on as you normally do.
• The RP Discussion Section
This section is very self explanatory. This section will be devoted specifically to Non-Primary RP threads such as Rp collaboration, story building, discussion, character threads, and basic conversation. There will be no primary RP threads here.
• The Ancient Archives
This section is reserved and is the final destination for all threads that become inactive and lock. While we may be able to revive them, if your RP goes silent it gets moved. This will help to prevent clutter in the other sections and while it may make things appear to be less active, it can certainly be appreciated to not swim through threads.
• Basic Rules
The rules are very simple - Do not post a Primary RP thread in the RP Discussion Section and do not place a Non-Primary RP thread in the Casual RP Section. If you do this by mistake, simply contact a moderation member or myself and we can move it for you. If we see that it's been posted out of negligence, the given rules posted by Administration will be enforced. I will personally send a warning and a request to move the thread the first time. More than one time or failure to comply with moving the thread and the thread will be removed without saving any information in it.
We hope that this will help keep things a bit more organized and lower any level of confusion or frustration that there is with this RP subforum. Input, questions, or suggestions? Feel free to contact the staff!
You can see Crucias' post Here in regards to the Discussion Section.
Happy RPing!
