Dear Chris,
The server running your website has been experiencing technical difficulties for the past 48 hours. We have already replaced 2 of the drives in the RAID10 Array and are working as fast as possible to restore service to "normal". We sincerely regret the downtime caused and understand it is not acceptable.
Please bear with us while we try to isolate the cause of the server failures. If we are unable to fix the current server, we will move all accounts over to a new server within 24 - 36 hours. Please stand by for an update.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused you and thank you for your cooperation.
Kind Regards,
Support Team

You should get a credit for this month's hosting. 99.9% uptime means the server can be down for a total of 45 minutes before the SLA takes effect.
True but this is the first time in 3 years of hosting I have had significant un-notified downtime

If I read the SLA right. If in any MONTH the server uptime is less than 99.9%, you get a credit for that month.
Shame I am paid up for the full year oO
Hey my name is Chris too!
Irony, however most people call me Cru now-a-days. Some real world friends do to, since Chris is such a common name

what does Crucias mean anyway?
I made it up for a computer game years ago. The train of thought went something like this
Healer -> Important to heal -> Healing is crucial -> Crucias
Considering it was a LONG time ago that's the best I can do.
