[Prosperan Son]

Huron grunts in pain as he slides near a tree. He comes to his feet groggily. He grips onto the arrow head, snapping off the shaft off before glaring at the ghoul.

"What in hell's name is this thing?" Huron demanded to know, his Ripper Blade drawn. He grabbed onto his tattered robes, rripping them off and throwing them to the side, blood dripping down his shoulder.

It draws its bowstring back, its eyes glittering in malice

the arrow shakes as saleana granbs you and yanks you aside, just in time to keep you from mbeing skeewered to the tree.

she hisses as she sends an arrow whistling into the beasts eye, making it fall back, snarling and cursing in pain.

Huron's looked back to see the arrow dig into the tree where he stood only seconds before. He turned to Saleana." Let us go then!" He exclaimed before dashing off trying to build as much distance between them and this creature Pride. What was it? It sure as hell wasn't any normal ghoul.

saleana growls as she moves.

"that is the cardinals sin....A legendary ghoul....It embodies some old world religions sin ...it is a game hunter...it has been hunter varghen for generations."

she ducks low as an arrow whisks by and dives into cover .

Huron ducks low instinctively as arrows continue to fly past them. Rolling behind the cover of a tree after one nearly hits his leg. " So it is safe to assume we've stumbled into it's gaming territory?" He asked, knuckles whitening as he tightened the grip on his sword.

Salaena nods as an ardor buries deep into the tree trunk just above her head.

" I don't think it matters !"

You hear a loud crack and tracer rounds rip through the woods driving the ghoul back.

Huron dives down towards the ground as the tracers start to fly, rolling onto his back, sword at the ready. "Now what?" He growled in annoyance, unsure whether to be grateful that there was someone else firing upon the ghoul or careful that there might be another hunter.

The smell of wolves fill your nose as you notice these men are seeker varghen.

The Crudelian shrugged both shoulders, raising both of his hands in surrender. " Well we were in the middle of trying to find a supposed sanctuary somewhere in this area, when that ghoul back there attacked us..." He dropped his sword, showing he meant no harm " but it looks like you found us."

A seeker roughly turns you around and pats you down.

" there's a demon in these woods... Lets get you into the sanctum.... You can talk to the elder."

The obvious leader, a female seeker with red streaks in her fur mumbles

"You can call me Huron, and you are?" He asked her with a raised brow. He knelt down to the ground to lift his blade, stopping his hand away from the sword." You don't mind if I hold my sword do you?"

"i am Njarlia...I am the alpha of this scout pack...its not often we get many varghen in these lands with the hunter around.... Welcome to seeker land huron...Can i ask what your looking for?"

Huron chuckled, amused by the number of times he's received the question. "I'm looking for a man named Cain." He answered " I thank you for your aid Njarla."

Her eyebrow raises and you hear a loud whistling In the air.

A sharp pain. Rips through your knee as a arrow slams Ito the back of your leg and flies through.

The seeker alpha spits, drawing her rifle and cracking off a shot.

"GAH! DAMMIT!" Huron yells stiening his body to prevent himself from falling to the ground. He continues to limp after them, using his blade as a walking aid.

you can almost hear the laughter from the sniper as you are pushed past the sanctums doors.

Varghen of all brreeds look at you with confused stares, a large bearlike humanoid walks over checking your knee.

"clear through....Thats one brutal shot"

Huron stares at each of them, pleased to be amongst his kind, although his excitement at being here is crushed by the Bear reminding him of his leg." Yes, here I was thinking it was lodged in there." He replied sarcastically, gritting his teeth in pain." I don't suppose you have any one experienced in the medical field?"

Grunting the beat produces a satchel of medical supplies.

" no I came to look at your leg simply to annoy you crudelian..... Good still this will hurt like hell."

"Just get it over with." Huron replied impatiently, not pleased with the thought of being effectively crippled for the rest of his life.

He takes what looks like a tube of pink foam and injects it into the ragged wound. A searing pain rips through you as the pink fluid expands and shuts the wound , the pink mixture seeming to burn your skin .
