So my new guide from Prima arrived today

654 pages of type 5 font with (mostly) small pictures and only very very short quest descriptions.

I am a level 22 Nord who runs around in heavy armor and 2 weapons.
I am also a werewolf, and part of the dark brotherhood. And I am for the Rebelion and an overall mean son of a bitch.

Just entering stage 3 of the Thieves Guild arc (eg the end bit of the story)
Just entering stage 1 of the Dark Brotherhood

As I'm Nord probably going for rebellion but if you pick sides early on you loose out on some of the fun bits, so I'll pick a side closer to the end once I've cleared all the guilds.

I've just joined the companions and I'm on my way to the Greybeards (or whatever they're called) to learn more about dragon shouts.

I haven't picked a side yet for the same reasons Crucias listed.

Level 11ish Male Nord, sword and board type with a little archery thrown in for good measure. Strictly Stormcloak supporter, fully signed up Werewolf too. Have learnt 3 or 4 shouts now. Fully furnished house, along with Housecarl to guard it - I never take her along on quests, as I don't want her to die lol.

Also I've just started a second character, level 2 Dark Elf, going stealth with this one, daggers and bow, with a little magic thrown in to help 'blend' into the background. Possibly going to try and get her vamped up too. Not easy making a sezzy looking Dunmer but I think I managed it

Im a lvl 38 wood elf leveling archery and all the rogue type skills only quest lines ive finished is dark brother hood and thieves guild i dont plan on starting the main story line until im 50 or w/e the max level is lol i want to get as much out of this game as possible

Level 31 Imperial "Jack-Of-All-Trades / Hybrid"
Light Armored Stealth Archer (For Stealthy Missions) & Heavy Armored Battlemage (For Everything Else)

I've completed the Imperial Legion, Dark Brotherhood questlines. 90% Finished with the Theives guild, and about 50% complete with the Mage and Companions. Not sure how far I am into the main questline but I've finished my training with the Greybeards and I have killed two dozen dragons. atleast

EDIT: Forgot to mention, I own Breezewood & Proudspire Manor both fully upgraded. The dark Brotherhood Sanctuary is also fully upgraded.

You might be able to, but I think it most likely locks you out. So you'll probably have to play the game twice. And besides why would you want to help Ulfric? He doesn't even wear any armor. Such a pushover. :P

Ulfric can shout though (which was why he was muzzled at the start in the prison cart).

Once you join a faction the other faction becomes hostile. So if you join the Stormcloaks you cannot do a lot of quests as the guards become hostile. For example Whiterun is an Imperial city, Winterhold is Stormcloak

Because from what i can see Ulfric fights for his homeland. I played Oblivion like 10+ times through, dont see why not in this game.

Just call yourself Gerhart and roll a Nord. Fitting and you always get the best experience playing the race who the story revolves around (Dark Elf in Morrowind, Imperial in Oblivion, Nord in Skyrim)

I did for my Nord, but in future play throughs, as ork, agro, cat, and so on want to "fit" in.
