5 Guardsmen walk smartly up behind Syck and salute. you see that they are armed to the teeth and they are in fact veterans, each marked visibly from a score or more campaigns

Mordeci moves out to assess the base. He starts by noting troop strength, then moving on to vehicles and fuel, and lastly the defensive properties of the base.

you find a strong troop base, 2 chimeras and a Leman russ, with enough fuel for all three for an extended campaign. the base is strongly defended with troops and traps

you notice that there are in fact 3 blind spots where a skilled enemy could infliltrate

After noticing the three spots, Mordeci sets off to rearrange the defense and reinforce the blind spots. When he is satisfied, he moves back to the inquisitor to report about his actions.
