Mordeci turns around to face the Commissar:

"Commissar, the medics are working hard to gather the wounded, and all battle able soldiers is setting up a defense of the area. I am trying to establish a chain of command until the Lord Commander is found!"

leaves Mordeci to the Doc, then goes and help the wounded. Looks down at the stabbing in his leg. "oh feth!" a black sliver of metal is poking out of his thigh. "bugger it all" ignores it and carries on

for some reason whenever I try to make a die roll it doesn't work. And as I didn't know I was hurt I don't think I need one?

Clambering up from under the burning hull of a chimera Knight surveys the scene. Carnage everywhere.

Mordeci moves through the death and carnage of the ruined LZ, weapon at the ready. Without a word he searches for other survivor among the wrecks. The panic infused fear of being the only survivor grips his guts. Would he find somebody, and if so, who? Or in the case of an enemy, what?

"Modeci? Is that you trooper? Have you been able to find the general yet?"

Without taking his eyes away from the sight of the weapon, Mordeci answers with a low tone while he scans the surrounding.
"No Sir, Commissar. You are the first survivor I've found. I don't even know what hit us, or what we're up against here."

Mordeci activates his vox-unit and open it on all frequencies:
"This is Storm Trooper Mordeci. Please respond. Any unit that hears this, please respond."

"feth me, he's dead!" points at a palid corpse trapped under a chimera with a hole in its head and a generals pin badge
