Can characters besides Cain and Burias observe fights or would that make things too complex? (pretty sure this wasn't covered)

I guess I'll take Kite or Priest next...whoever's fight is over sooner I suppose (unless some of our newer members want to take on my lovable and apparently occasionally sadistic mercenary)
