Leaders/XOs just confirm in here that their chapter is attending please - and list their champions (In Here is a link)

Player Eligibility
Each chapter may submit 1 champion for every 10 (in-game active) members they have registered on GWRS. This should translate into every 10 members registered on GWRS assuming Leaders are not Lax in their pruning.

It is requested that all chapters entering have tryouts to allow all their members a chance at the Champ Positions. It defeats the sense of community if only an select group of a chapters members are allowed a chance at competing. However this is not enforced, merely an honour requirement.

Swedish Rounding is used to calculate the number of champions. Example:
  • 5-14 Members = 1 Champion
  • 15-24 Members = 2 Champions
  • etc etc

Rules
1v1
Annihilation 20 Kills
Any Class
Any Weapon
No Perks
Instant Respawn
Normal (Spawn) Armour
Any Map *
1 Week Per Round **
Double Elimination

* = Players type
/.roll 1d100
into a post (without the period) and the higher rolling player can pick the map. Should the post with your roll be edited you will forfeit your roll, so don't correct any typos! Note that players may not pick DLC maps if both players do not have it.

** = Extensions will only be granted for extrodinary circumstances (Funeral, Debilitating Illness, Hospitalizing Injury etc). You will not get extensions for forgetting to arrange a game. This is a VERY fast paced tournament.

Submission cut-off date? and really not liking the rolling.....

get someone from Australia, and Canada say it will be very unbalanced, better to have 10 kills one hosts 10 kills the other hosts.

The rules sounds good but if we are trying to find the champion of space marine, should we not allow them to run perks on there weapons?

Don't know if my Champions will want to be involved but I will let them know. Rolling is fair it me as its all luck. Plus if Dodge plays he's going to beat everyone ;). 
I would purpose winning by two, just like in tennis or volleyball. If its to late to add that so be it. 
I'm tired so excuse my stupidness for multiple replies. I agree with no perks, evens the playing field for all the players and makes it purely skill based.

If your guys want to play it in two rounds of 10 on the same map then that would be fine by me.

Too late to change that now, these rules were up for Leaders and XO's to debate for over a month and there was never any supported argument about "no perks" raised. If you have a genuine issue with it, then you can have your case heard before the next tournament series. We regularly make changes to improve the experience overall, so don't forget to speak up!

I wouldn't be too sure about that considering that both the former and current DA chapter champions have beaten him 1v1. :D

This will be a Championship tourney for mainly tac marines as an unperked assault is for the most part useless. I imagine you'll see quite a few vengance launchers/las cannons/melta guns and a few stalkers for the most part. Unfortunatly during the time of the debate for the tourney rules I was not on GW to much. No Perked 1v1 leads to some very lopsided classes.
