Definitely School Days if haven't seen it. (Don't do any research on it or you'll ruin it. And stick it through to the end.)

I would also recommend these Horror/Mystery anime.

Before I recommend anything I would just like to say that School Days is a overrated piece of tripe, don't watch it.


Greatest animes: Welcome to the NHK: My personal fav, I have no idea how anyone with any taste in anime can not adore it

Cowboy Bebop: This one does without saying, nigh perfection.

Baccano!: I've yet to find an anime so brillently pased, crazy, sadistic and fun. I adore this and you should to.

Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust: If you like vampires this is perfection, everything that a vampire anime movie should be.


Recommended Anime: Death Note: Atsolutely stunning...... until episode 26 . It still worth watching after episode 25 but it's no where near as good after that (except for the ending, which is quite possibly the highlight of the show).

Midori Days: A great feel good Rom-Com with gives some great laughs, compleling leads and the most mentally retarded premase in Anime (no i'm not telling you, i'll leave you to watch it).

Elfen Lied: The flawed gem of anime in my eyes. Good story, stunning music and flawless play on emotions which will make you down right depressed and on the verge of tears. It's a shame that the anime had a 'read the manga' ending, skiped some inportant details and had a useless character (well, that's a problem for both the Manga and the Anime). Definately worth a watch but the full experence lies in the manga.

Berserk: I FUCKING HATE THE ENDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! . A great anime but the ending is probably the worst ending in anime history. Another case of watch it but if you can, read the manga.

BECK: Mongolian Chop Squad: An anime based around the world of music. I haven't watched it yet (it just came though the post) but from what i've heard it's definately worth a watch and is the perfect anime for music nuts.

Angel Beats!: I know Kite's watched this but some may have not. Definately recommened (mainly due to the ending and the fact that Girl's Dead Monster does almost all the music)

Hellsing Ultimate: The anime sucks, this doesn't. Everyone knows about it so watch it if you can (mainly due to The Major and Alucard being complete basasses).

Akira: The anime movie that made anime avilable to the masses. A good movie but a bit overrated.

One Piece: Even though I never watched past episode 70 (due to my rule of never watching really long anime), I found it far better than Naruto and Bleach even though Naruto was damn good for 90 episodes.

Lol well thank you guys Uhhh..... I've been watching the stuff for years Uhhh... I own when they cry zero both season and cowboy bebop Opeth I'll try to name off all the animes I've seen to give ya a heads up of what I watch, but it will have to be when I get home

If you havn't seen Black Lagoon you really should its a stellar anime. If you havn't seen Clannad you really should as well and if you say you dint cry in the second season you either have no soul or are not man enough to admit it.

Have you seen beelzebub, desert punk, Infinite stratos, is this a zombie,full metal panic, fullmetal alchemist and Sword art online(recent anime still not finished airing) ? just a few off the top of my head to with easy to remember names lol.

Yeah I didn't reall seem to keen on the idea of reading while watching something so when I first starting watching anime I only watched dubbed and highschool dxd was the first subbed one I watched and that's when I realized its not as bad as I thought and you only realize your reading when you think about it.
