What is your army's claim to fame? I think mine belongs to my IG regiment, who field about 80% of points in tanks alone. I typically bring 60 guardsmen, and around 8 tanks, mostly Leman Russ, but also Bassies and Hydras.

My Grey Knights also did a good job of losing in 5th ED (yeah, yuk it up. Running with max. range of 24" wasn't easy.)

So, what's your army's claim to fame?

My old armies claim to fame was my grandmother...she's loaded and bought me 2 titans and at least three thnderhawks and a few storm ravens. I also had some custom tanks..until me and my mum fell out and she trashed it all by setting alight to them whilst i was asleep

Thats messed up fallen, not even my mum would do that and she likes her jokes. My armies claim to fame is when i turn up with an army where 90-100% of points has been spent on leman russ tanks alone, especially when my local gamesworkshop store ran a 750 point campaign and i turned up with four leman russ tanks.

In one of my 2000pts chaos space marine army I have 75% of the points spent on my 30 termies alone in a perfectly legal list.

That's pretty cool guys, I've got another one for you.
One guardsman managed to take down both a Hive tyrant and Carnifex in one game, by sniping the last wound off each with his lasgun. He got a promotion after that.

I cant beat that, but i can get close, one game i had ten stormtroopers take on six necron wraiths and ten space marine terminators in combat and won, suffering only five losses in total i believe, i promoted then all after that .

I don't really know. I got my Blood Angels and my World Eaters army.

There must have been something cool happen in a game. Something winning or tanking way more than it should, really unlikely stuff, etc. Another example is my Terminators that marched down the board shrugging off three turns of bolter and heavy bolter fire from two Tac squads and a predator, before all deciding they wanted to die on the fourth turn. at the end, only Belial and one terminator were left.

Still managed to wipe those squads out though

My 1500pts of guards man anilalated 1500pts of space marines in two turns only loosing 3 veterans and It wasn't a mechanized army or a swarm list

my Landraider Redeemer survived 4 charges by a warboss with power klaw, only lsing 2 hull points, and y scouts gunned him down with 2 bolters

Another one for you, from right back at the start of 5th. We had a team game, Necrons and Chaos vs various Space Marines. The Sm took Sicarius and an Emperor's champion, alongside other things, while we had a sorceror with Gift of chaos. So, the turns pan out and it comes to the sorceror in CC with the Emperor's champion. Sorceror casts gift, rolling a five and spawning the Champion. Pretty good so far. My Necron Lord was in CC with Sicarius, about to die. Out of nowhere this spawn rushes to his aid, hitting with three attacks and wounding with one. Sicarius goes to roll his save.
One.
The spawn took Sicarius' last wound, saving my Lord in the process. The Sm players threw in the towel at that point.
