great yellow, there Kim. It's a bastard to get right, and you nailed it.
I found that if you use Iyanden yellow as basecolour and blend with that colour and Bleached bone (don´t know if it´s still called that) up until you are using just bleached bone, you can glaze with Sunburst yellow to achieve a really rich yellow just add a little edge highlight with bleached bone and it looks perfect.

Dan, how do you blend the colours on your model so well? like the blues on the dragon, when i try to do stuff like that, it just looks horrible.
First, thanks.
Put on your darkest colour all over the areas. Then getting progressively lighter in colour with each layer. Make sure your paint is watered down as it blends a lot easier. I think that dragon ended up having about 16 layers of progressively lighter blues. Then whack a glaze over the top to soften any divisions in colour. Actually an easy process, just a very long one. The dragon took me 15 hours start to finish.
The girlpainting YouTube channel is very very good and I crudely attempt to emulate her work.
