Burias took off the cowl and mask and scratched the parts of his burned skin that itched still. "Short story, scaring the crap out of oh siht and getting his son." Burias explained, gesturing over to jacob. "What made you get out of Brazil though Haas?" he asked him.

Haas checks his duffle bag.

" money... I was born in brasil , went to Thailand where I grew up times is hard hermano. The sanctum I grew up with is gone. I wet bak home and than here. It hasn't been a easy trip ."

He smiles tossing you what looks like a child's box of juice.

" so I've been doing work... Fucking with John... You know the fun stuff."

He catches the juice box and hands it to Jacob, doubting he had anything to eat or drink for awhile. "Ja? Got any other family? Or just been on your own the whole time?" he asked Haas.

" a sister and two brothers. ... I miss em but somebody's gotta make some bread right?"

He looks at Cain who is patting Jacobs head idly as he morphs the iron in his hand

" he's not like I pictured... The tv makes him look alot more vicious you know?"

"Well, you should not believe everthing you see on television." he said with a smirk as leaned back into the seat. "He is only like that when he absolutly has to be. He's actually a calm guy, bit of an ass at times, but he means well." he told Haas. He looked over to Haas.

haas watches cain as e drives.

"I know your right hermano...Its just....Odd to see him in the fllesh you know? Hes made to be a terror, but i see him with a kid, not beating something to death.."

he smirks as cain tussles jacobs hair and looks at you.

"what makes you follow him around?"

"While his not by blood, he is my brother. He has been there for me ever since Blake hills, and I been there for him and his family since they took me in." he said as let himself sink back into his memories a little. "And just like those who where family to me in Drachen Blut, I watch over him as best as I possible can. So it seem the most logical thing for me." he explained.

Haas smiles.

" ah warrior brothers... Rare to find when half the worlds dead huh?"

He laughs as you notice dark and intricate tribal tatoos running up his shoulder.

"Maybe, or maybe one just needs to look in the right place." He shrugged. He points to the sleeve of tattooes on Haas's arm. "And it seems you found one?" He asked, curious.

He smiles.

" ah you like? It's an old world art... Done with old world tools. It's how warriors distinguish each other in my tribe.

"I think I have enough markings on myself." he said looking down to his burn scared sking. "But the idea is interesting, do they each have their own meaning?" he asked him.

He nods showing you the archaic tools.

" they represent the warrior within.. Wat you want some ink?"

He looked down to his burned pale skin as if in thought and then to Haas's collection of tools and then to Haas. "Did I even do anything to deserve one though?" he asked him.

" can I get a tattoo?" Jacob asks as Cain cuffs him .

" no... But in interested."

Haas claps his hands and looks at burias.

" watch me do it to your friend and you'll get so e inspiration

Burias shrugged. "Why not, this should prove interesting really." he said.

Cain pulls the truck into a squatter camp, the area seems to bear no danger at all as Cain locks and powers on the field.

" hey firebug."

Haas calls tossing you a pot of water..

" be a sweetheart and boil this or me."

He sets his tools down as Cain removes his shirt and kneels beside a fire ring.

He holds the pot with one hand and puts his other hand underneath it. "More portable and convient than any oven or campfire." he said in a cheesy commercial narrator voice as he heats up the water to a boil.

The ore boils quickly in your hands and you can see haas crushing what looks like hunks of coal like materials and ink into a pestle.

Once he feels ok with his work he reaches into his bag and pulls out a jar with what looks like a scorpion in it.

" now hermano... This will hurt... But I've got to deaden the nerves or you will pass out from the pain."

He milks the venemois arachnid quickly and injects cains arm with its venom making him yelp.

" oh stop being such a puss... Your a godamn purifier suck it up."

"Huh, I dealt with worse for fun." he said quietly as he watched. Then his red eyes grew wide when he realized he said it aloud. "That was suppose to stay in my head..." he trailed off hoping no one heard.

A calm voice answers as cains good hand clenches.

" so... Since we're all friends here I've gotta ask. Do either of you two have a plan? From what I heard Russia and china are on the shore looking for blood."

Cain grunts as haas begins the careful work of pushing ink into cains pores.


" I'm going to deliver Jacob to base... Than I will take a small group to Canada to a weapon depot lost years back. There is an old battle ship there with a prototype we are going to need."
