Cain rips the ghouls chest open with a dry snap and tossed you a long rancid length of intestine.


It's oily and black, and seems to crawl in your hands as Cain grabs a handful of grustle , smearing over his face, arms and neck.

Burias shrugged as he rubbed the black viscera over the cowl, his shirt, and even the material part of the gasmask, leaving the lenses alone so he could see. "Now, my only question is will it work?" he asked, as if that is the only objection he had.

[Thugren]

Cain grunts, his heightened senses offended at the smell

" it's a trick used since I day, ghouls attack humans by scent. Ever notice ghouls rarely attack one another?"

[Armoured Priest]

"True, I guess we will just have to hope our scent is hidden." he said as he tapped one of the filters on the gasmask, sort of surprised that it was gone and yet he barely smelled anything. "That can not be good." he remarked to himself as he thought about it.

[Thugren]

Slowly, hunching slightly to not draw attention Cain begins to walk into the herd.


He motions for you to follow, avoiding direct contact within the shambling undead

Burias changes his poise to hopefully give off a good impersentation of a ghoul and goes to follow cain, keeping a distance to ghouls as best he could.

You manage to follow Cain but numb hard into a ghoul who turns and considers you.


Dead lifeless eyes take you in for a second and it turns away as if concerned with other matters.


Cain moves quickly, guiding you to the shack and pulling it open revealing a manhole

'Well, that's the second time you got too close to a ghoul.' a voice remarked in Burias's head with a chuckle. He just shook his head as he gets in the shack with Cain. He goes to pick up the man hole cover and slide it off.

[Thugren]

The hole is pitch black and it seems to go for eternity. Cain motions for you.

" go on just don't look diwn bruder."

[Armoured Priest]

Burias nods as he supresses a shudder, going in first. He tires to keep a good pace going down so he would hold up his bruder, his phobia starting to seep in.

[Thugren]

Cain lifts the manhole over his head a he heads down and he begins to whistle.

" if I should fall... And shatter on the rocks , my love I have loved well..."

He smiles as he begins to feel a palpable sense, of anger hanging over his head and stops.


" something is... Off."

"Please, why now?" Burias moaned weakly from below as he looks up to cain. "What is it now?" he asked, he grip on the rusted metal of the ladder getting tighter than any human should be able to.

[Thugren]

Cain stops, his eyes closing as he listens to the voices in the metal.

" all the scientists fled here..."

He answers looking down and past burias. " something drove them away... Or dragged them screaming into the darkness

"That is probably the vaguest thing I ever heard." Burias could not help remark looking up to cain, not wanting to look down even more now. "And I am guessing that I should keep going down now too?" he asked.

[Thugren]

Cain puts his boot on the top of buriases head and pushes off.

Your grip loosens and you fall bak Intothe darkness.... Onto your ass, not even two feet from the ottom Cain leaps down and looks around.

Blood and something... Else, lingers over the room. A simple entry way. The words, they come.... Are written on the doors stone walls in blood.

"Wirklich? wirklich Scheisse?!" Burias said through gritted teeth, a hand gripping the top of his head as he tried to stand up. A surge of fear triggered adrenaline ran through him when he thought he was falling a much higher distance.

Cain smirks, helping you up as he scans the room.


" I sense.... A darkness that I remember from somewhere..."

Titan grunts as you hear faint residual sound coming from deep inside the facility.

" I sense... Something older than us ghouls.. Something that screams from a dark place in generic memory."




Cain takes a deep breath.

" it smells.... Like rain in here..."

[Armoured Priest]

"And I can hear something?" Burias said, unsure of what it was. "So far I know Titan and Deks already dislike this place." he added as he looked around, hoping to see something than more blood scripture.

[Thugren]

Something skitters out of the side of your vision.

A hunched and feral shape vanishes as you look to it and Cain finds a scripture written in black viscera.


" run.... Run from this den of madness... Of nothing... Of void . Man was not meant to master the rain... The rain will haunt us... The darkness controls us..."

"Komrade, we are not alone." he said quietly to cain as he goes for one of his machetes. "Lights?" he asked him, hold his free hand up a little as he waited for cain's answer.
