Cain looks around.

" be careful.... If something is pacing us don't provoke it... Go into the facility, well seal the doors behind us."

Burias nods as he backs slowly for the door, trying to keep a lookout for the hunched over form he saw. He tries to open the door the moment he reaches it.

The door opens into a decontamination room and as the door behind Cain closes a sharp puff of sterilizing air his you and the door to the facility opens.


Blackness spreads out in front of you, the smell of heavy rain buffets your nostrils and Cain raises an eyebrow as he notices that the darkness and the sound if rain seem to block out all perception of what lies ahead

"Why does it feel like there is a storm around us?" he asked as he stood where he was, wanting to light up the area just to test what they are dealing with.

Cains eyes narrow.

" I heard of this project ... Rain hunters.... Trackers, killers that can hunt in any environment . Rain and darkness rob the senses conpletly forcing the brain to perceive on a higher level.. Problem is the brain cannot handle that activity for extended periods... I heard this project was dismantled."

"Probably because the subjects got loose, if the warnings outside were any indication of what happened." Burias said. "This is going to be unpleasent." he sighed.

It's sensory depravation.

Cain says with a shudders.

" I've done this before.... But are you going to be ok?it forces you to.... Surround yourself with your thoughts

"It would be the first time since I was little, but it is not entirely new to me." he shrugs. "What about you bruder? Since you actually do not have to talk to your thoughts." he said.

Cain manipulates a small length of metal and works it around buriases forearm , making sure to do it arou d his own as well.

" I went through it to become a dominus.... You will hallucinate when you have been fully deprived... Concentrate, if you need to be shake. Out of it let me know I will tighten the ring to kinda shake you out of it."

He looks at the metal on his harm and nods. "I can tell this is going to be wierd already." he said as he looked forward to the black infront of them. "Anything else? Or do we try to go forward now?"

Cain sighs , lighting up a smoke, his eyes tired.

" want one,... Our luck says well be here a while

He sighed and shook his head. "Rather keep the mask on for now." he said, declining the offer.

Cain smiles for a while, his eyes never leaving that pitch darkness.

Eventually he stands, taking the first step into the darkness and immediately he is swallowed whole.

Burias watches hm go and sighed deeply after seeing him disappear into the black abyss around them. He looks down to one of his hands and flicks his thumb, a little flame dancing on the end. "Last light." he said with a smirk. He lets it fade as he stands up and heads the way cain went.

The darkness engulfs you like a must. Water, frigid and numbing pours all over you, however your gasmask, the god send it was manages to keep your eyes dry and you can see just enough to know you are in a hallway.

The water is high enough that it covers your feet and you can see what looks like bones bobbing up and down in the water

'If this is not omnious then I do not know what is.' he thought to himself with grim humour, thankful for the gas mask's protection greatly. He walks down the hallway, careful of obstructions that might trip him.

The darkness curls around Cain as he walks, seeming to envelope him. Tendrils of shadow and water seem to wrong around his throat and a deep voice, one you have not heard before whispers


" it would be... So easy."

Yor skin is numbing to the touch, the frigid water making your body feel heavy and useless as Cain stumbles up a small walkway and walks face first Ito a wall

Burias shook his head, not sure if he was seeing things already or something else. But he knows that voice shouldn't be there. "Cain?" he tired to say, trying to see if he was ok or if he can even hear him.

Your words are drowned out in the silence , the sounds of rushing water swallowing them hole.

You feel the frigid cold gripping at your limbs, a painful numbness fils your extremities and a voice hisses.

" kill.... Kill him..... He's going to kill you... Kill him and run to safety."

Burias shooked his head and weakly slammed a hand against his head, the numbness of his limbs making any motion difficult. These weren't his voices, they would't say such things. 'Is it the rain hunters? Can they get in to our heads?" he wondered to himself. He keeps going forward, trying to follow cain and figure out what is going on.
