The blade slices through the bony sheath and into soft flesh , sending hot blood over your face in a cascade.

Heavy orbs fall onto your chest as the beast recoils, blood and sputum spraying over the walls until it collapses to the floor, twitching

Burias tires to wipe the blood off the lenses of the gasmask as he looks down. He throws his hands up in exasperation, seeing his uniform and boots filthy now. "Great, at least my trench coat was not here." he said to himself. He steps over the thing and past the window into the darkness looking for Cain. "Cain?" he called out.

[Thugren]

The darkness seems to give no reply but you can see his figure push up onto his hands after a few short moments.

Burias sheathes his machete and goes over to cain to help him up. "Cain? You all right bruder?" he asked, trying again as his concern grows.

Cain coughs hard,

" you shouldn't have come back out here...."


A alarm blares and a blast shutter seals off the med bay, entombing you in the frigid rain, the darkness pressing in instantly

"......Es tut mir leid." Burias sighed to Cain after the shutter slammed shut. "I was not going to leave you out in this and I did not know about that." he gestured to the shutters. He goes to help him out. "At least you are not out here by yourself?" he tried to find the bright side to the situation.

Cain deadpans, gesturing his head , ever so slightly to a corner down his right where another pair of lifeless eyes consider him.

"Like I said, at least you are not alone now." he said, a different meaning than what cain meant. "I do not suppose you can open that shutter back open?" he asked as he himself tired to look for water, a little more difficult without the vision filter of his drachen gasmask.

Cains left arm hangs weakly from his shoulder , a huge hunk of glass jammed completely through his socket.

" if I lift it, the light and our scent will draw more and I won't be able to close the shutter."

"Ok, so we will just have to stick to the waters." Burias said with a shrug. He looked down to Cain's shoulder. "And find another med bay....unless you want me to try to remove it?" he asked him.

Reaching up Cain grips the shard and grits his teeth, yanking it free he casts it in the water, causing the eyes to take a step closer those few scant moments that the scents of his blood wafted in the air.

" the deeper we go the more likely we will find an answer.. Or our death

"And I doubt going back is much of a option either." he sighed. He goes to help him stand again. "So deeper we go, just like shit we normally get in." he tried to joke as they moved.

Cain smiles beginning to walk slowly, the darkness seems to press you harder. The constant silence so powerful it's almost deafening. More eyes are following you now, some crouching in cells, others hanging from rafters . Cain clutches your shoulder tight as he walks, keeping his breathing measured as the ghoul organs slowly eek not his ravaged flesh

Burias held him up as best he could with one arm and shoulder, his free hand having a machete at the ready incase one of the things grew bold. "How you holding up bruder?" he asked him in his head, not wanting more attention from the things than they need.

I got bitch slapped through played glass and down a hallway.... Other than that fine."

Cain leans down, touching the floor ,

" we can go to the church, the science bay... Or the chair from here.

[Armoured Priest]

'I was just asking." he chuckled to cain. "I think the science bay will have the answers, at least I hope it will." Bruias suggested.

[Thugren]

Cain looks at burias in the eye.

" predictable... Always wanting to see the new toys."


Cain laughs guiding burias down the hallway until a glowing led panel can be seen .

" watch my back.."


Cain grunts, beginning to hit keys as a pair of eyes comes dangerously close.

[Armoured Priest]

"Jawohl." Burias acknowledged, keeping close to Cain as he watched the corridor behind them, and the eyes that stared down at them. He kept his machete by his side, not sure what might instigate the creatures.

[Thugren]

You see a familiar bony growth from the darkness tap your gasmask and the beast vanishes, apparently losing interest.


The door opens and Cain pushes you inside closing the door sharply behind him.

"What the hell was that?" Burias said suprised, wondering about the bony growth that tapped his face. He looked around to see what was around them and if there was anything useful.
