The laboratory opens before you, the misuse apparent. Specimens lay in pans, rotted or completely dried out. Computers lay at their stations, idling waiting fr user input.


Cain slide down the wall, his eyes heavy.

" taking... A nap... So tired.."


He grabs a discarded fire blanket and covers himself with it./

"Go ahead and sleep, I will keep a look out." he said to cain as he started to explore the room. "Either they were completely incompetent, or they were in a hurry to get the hell out." Burias noted as he looked around. He walks up to one of the computer terminal console and examines it.

Burias shrugs. "Ok, let us start with the basics Ja?" he said to himself as he goes for the keyboard. He types 'Primary projects' into the search bar of the page to see what is pulled up.

Burias looks at the project titles and thinks over which one to go over first. "That last one, seems to be named a lot differently than the rest." he says to himself. He moves the cursor over Dragual and clicks on it to see what is revealed. "

Draugal- An abberation made to consume the piles of undead that where left behind. Self propagating creatures that lay egs in bodies similar to theirs to create more. Completely blind and deaf, these beings hunt by smell to clean out heavily urban areas without issue

"Clean up crew? They must be trying to be through with their plans to push the dead back to china I believe." he said to himself. He goes back to the project page and clicks on 'Rain Hunter' to see what the creatures where about, and maybe how to beat them easier.

Burias looked at the screen in surprise and then the microphone. He took a moment before he said anything. "Hello?" he asked quietly, not sure if the video was live or he was being an idiot and talking to a recording.

"what are you doing here....This facility has been locked down for months....Ive been living off the computers sustance tubes since then...I never thought id hear another human.

"Wait, the authoriziation for the projects came out recently. Oh siht must have not cared that they have not heard from the facility for awhile." he said into the mic, surprised by the man's perdicament. "As for us, well we came to shut the place down, but it seems like the creatures already did that for us." he answered the man. "Is there anyway to reach you?" he asked him.

"you wont be able to get to me.."


YOu can see his eyes look similar to the creatures outside.

"nor could you get past all the draugal....They are waiting...THey are listening."

"I thought they were deaf?" he asked, the man's claim conflicting with what the report said about the Dragual. "I am guessing you are some how related to what are called 'Rain hunters' then?" he asked him, noting the eyes of the man in the chair.

he shakes his head.

"they are deaf... but They always seem to hear,....always seem to know where people are..."


you hear Cain start awake and he looks at you . "Whats ...going on bruder.."

"Their olfactory senses must be extrordinary then to make it look like something else." he said to himself. He look up and to Cain when he asked. "Bruder, someone seems to be still alive in this facility." he said, pointing to the screen. "Look at his eyes." he told him, not sure what to make of the man yet.

Cain stands, walking over to the screen and his face changes.

" Jason tenneson... Deadeye sniper of zeta squad..."

The mans ears perk up at cains voice." I never thought I'd hear your voice again sir."

Cain smiles hitting buttons on the switchboard and you see power reroute e to the facilities lights.

"My memory must still be screwy then, I do not remember him." Burias said to cain as he scratched his head. "Should I?" he asked him, since it seems that cain knows Jason.

Cain shakes his head.

" you where his replacement . He joined the squad before you and was quickly put under shadow protocol. Wich is probably why he ended up here."

"Oh, that would explain a lot then." he said as he looked back to Jason. "Well, do you think we could get to him?" he asked him, wanting to know what he thought.
