He pulls the cowl over and puts on the reaper mask. "Then we shall take our leave now, Ja?" he said as he followed cain to their new destination.

cain leaves without a word, keeping to the forest. you move with purpose and speed, like ghosts over the rocky terrian until long twirling pillars of smoke can be seen curlinng to the sky in the distance.

"bur...do you want to go in the easy way or the hard way."

He thinks for a moment then looks at Cain. "Want to go hard?" He shrugged. He kept a hand on one of his machetes, not sure what will be between them and the town ahead.

Nodding Cain leads you down a dark path deeper into the forest


The areas dark and the strong smell of sulfur fills your nostrils and as you break the tree line you see why.

The sanctum of heavens rest sits amidst a glowing lake of magma. Purifier golems trundle in the superheated fluid easily, checking the outlets for clogs and obstructions

" we'll use the tension bridge."

Cain murmured pointing to a massive cable that runs over the magma and to one of the towers behi the sanctums pearl white walls

"Oh is that all." he said sarcasticlly as he stared up high at the tension bridge. Over a magma lake. 'It's as if fate wants to fuck with you.' a voice commented. He sighed and let cain take lead to the bridge.

The bridge is a a small , it's meant or you to put the tips of your feet on it and sidle across and Cain jumps onto it and begins his climb

As you follow he begins to whistle, an old shanty about drunken sailors.

" come on bur lets get this moving."

'And people call you insane?' another voice said to him as he saw how to cross the bridge. Burias sighs in lament. "I'm going, I'm going." he said as he began his climb now, trying to keep up with Cain's pace.

The trip is hard and Cain reache forward , holding the back of your hea to keep you looking up

He laughs as he jumps onto the catwalk and holds his arm out for you.

"You are having too much fun with this, you know that Ja?" He grumbled. But his head always kept either looking straight ahead or up. Never down. He gave a shuddered sigh before he goes to jump the gap to cain.

Cain makes a show of loosening his grip enough to let burias slide before he pulls him up enough that his body lays flat on the cold steel.

Burias crawled away from the edge a little bit before standing up. "Game face....right." he said with a slight stammer. Although he tired not to let it show, one of his arms twitching and shaking. "Let us go already, please?" he asked, wanting to get over this part already.

Cain breaks into a sprint running to the catwalk that overlooks the sanctuary

The sanctuary is huge, miles in all directions with sprawling suburbs and densely packed factory towns

Climb down this ladder burias.. Now

'Down, finally.' he thought. Burias made his way to the ladder as quick as he could, eager to get back to ground level soon. As he ran he also saw the scenery in his peripheral vision. 'Good view up here though.' he thought himself as he got to the ladder and start making his way down.

You get down quickly and Cain follows you. You land deep I. The industrial district in a dark alleyway obscured from visionleaning against a wall Cain grunts

" we have three options... Option a we make a house in the ghetto, option two we make one in the rich district or three we just sleep in gutters"

"What would be the difference between them? Other than just sleeping arrangements?" he asked him as took a spot agianst the birckwork wall in the dark.

Cain watches the alley vigilantly as he folds his arms

" the ghettos will be easier to find a place but wil be combed like lice. The suburbs are harder to get I to but we can be a but more conident that the peacekeepers won't be a through

Burias thought for a moment as he watched the other direction. "Let us try the suburbs, if we are going to be here for awhile, might as well think about the long term problems." he reasoned.

Cain nods and slowly begin leading you through the winding trails of alleys and drainage ditches that are the framework of the city.

As you pass through the town you can see that the city is very much a contradiction. For a city supposedly safe from the horrid of the world , anti ho siht and gang markings color the dark stone of the industrial area. And in almost every runoff a street walker, Chen addict , or down trodden soul sleeps in a puddle of his or her own filth.

As you climb over a large wall Cain stops and a large green plain spreads out before you. In the distance you see sprawling manors and state homes , and Cain smirks
