He looks down to his shit and then back to cain. "This is the first time we had real food in how long?" He asked. "I'm going to enjoy before the oppertunity goes away." he said with a smirk before he continued.

Cain laughs and takes your bowl, pouring you more as Jason smiles.


" what did you do adopt him Cain?"

Cain smiles as he pours the steaming broth and noodles into the bowls.

" aye I did... Could t leave him in that slaughter alone."

Jason looks at you.

" I heard about that.... What made you all open fire?"

Burias's smile faded a little. "It was not all of us.....just me." he corrected, his tone growing a little somber. "I sent what was left of the company back out of the city." He explained. "When you see your brothers and sisters keep being picked off on a daily basis and no one to fire back on and the people you are suppose to help do not even give up one of them when found out, I...us." he said, tapping his head. "Thought it was wrong. So we tried to set it right." he said. "It was only after the whole thing, the flames, the bodies, that I realized what I really did." he finished, flashes of the charnel house that was the town before the next day when Cain and Krieg found him sitting by the dried up fountain in the center of town.

Jason looks at Cain .

" why did krieg spare him... Doesn't that classify as a class d war crime?"

Cain nods, gnawing on a particularly tough hunk of meat.

" technically yes... But I saw what he did. I scoped burias the entire time .. He didn't want to, he sobbed the entire time. He only wanted to do what was best for his people and ho siht needed that.. So I tagged him. He's essentially killed on public record. I inducted him into silencers myself. Even let him stay with me and Jess since he didn't have a home."

"Ja, that was fun living with you two." he said with a bit of a smile, remembering the some of the better times back then. "Although I do not think Krieg liked all the headaches I caused him, especially that one sniping mission our squad had to do." he smirk as he tried to stifled a giggle.

Jason cocks his head as Cain laughs,

" he wasted all the munitions and only managed to hit 3 ghouls out of a herd of 150 we had to bludgeon ghouls to death and when krieg found out he had burias in a cold box for two days."

"I told him before we set off that I was a horrible shot." he shrugged innocently. "And little did he know, I like the cold." He said with smirk. "I just hope he never figured that out yet." he added.

Oh he knew that's why he put diearetics in your drinks.

Cain smiles as he cracks cartalidge in his teeth.

He looked up with a face or realization. "And I thought back then I had a horrible intestinal problem." he said, almost as if relief it was just a punishment from Krieg.

Cain smirks.

" you made us fight a herd of ghouls with sidearms and machetes.... I had to stop the unit from throwing a boondock party in your honor."

He sighed. "I told both krieg AND the squad before we went, no matter how much I practiced at the damn firing range, I can not use a damn rifle." he said, slightly depressed about it. "I do not see what they were complaining about, that is standard procedure for Drachen units." he shrugged with a smirk.

Cain looks at burias and his eye twitches.


" that..... Is why.... They sent me.... To your fathers units..... To snipe...."

A huge smile spread across his face. "Ja, so many wasted rounds, so many holes, so few hits." He said as he remembered cain trying to teach several drachens with marksman rifles at the ash wastes fire range. "At least they learned more then me." he offered as he tried to stifle a chuckle.

Cains twitching becomes more pronounced.

" how do you miss a point blank shot?!"

He looked over to cain with a smirk of disbelief. "It maybe a point blank shot for the guy with a 99.9 percent accuracy rating, "he said, nodding toward him. "But you are talking to a someone who uses a fully automatic assault rife, two .45 pistols, and pyromancy for most if not all of his life. Where do you see any clue of accuracy or precision from that?" he asked him, eating a random ration bar.

Cains eye twitch becomes even more pronounced .

" you.... I'm going to make you a good shot..... If it kills Jason."

Jason laughs then stops.

" wait what... Fuck no I am not ring this bastards spotter... I can't even ... No!"

He looked to Jason then back to cain. "We just broke this man out of a prison, and now you want to put him in a new kind of hell bruder?" he asked with a bit of a chuckle.

Cain laughs as he flicks through his PDA.


" winter is coming... We need to get to Norfolk and get moving ASAP ... Soon ho siht will mobilize terror corp."

He finished off the ration bar before he spoke. "That does not sound good to me." he said as he stretches backwards, pops of various joints now. "Well, I am ready to move out of here when you are Bruder." he told him as he put back on the gasmask on loan back on. "I can not wait to get my mask back." he said to himself as he stracted a patch on his face as if to emphasize.

" we can leave this place the easy way or the hard way... Both ways suck equally."
