"Wait...you saw the piano too? But only jacob? No dark figure standing by him?" He asked, now wondering who that was now. "I can tell you what he, no not he, the shell or blackheart or whatever the hell was going on, was chasing me." He said as he rubbed his tired eyes. "But when I mentioned you, it seemed to break the contol enough for jacob to come out and speak. But when he tried the piano would get loud and frantic, trying to block what he wanted to say." He said, reliving the expirence to tell cain all that he saw and heard. "But Neffe wanted me to tell you that. And that he is in the city." He added, hoping cain heard all of what he told him.

cain shakes his head.

" I saw him look at you, all i saw was....Like some dark...shell of him...I saw him takee off after something and as the music raised i heard him screaming...All i heard was screaming. Like he was dying, over and over and over again."

"It's like he said, 'in the machine.' He is in there, it seems to shove him back down I think." He said trying to figure it all out. The piano, music though, I read that loud sounds can mess with a blackheart, but I am still not sure what connection it all has." He sighed as he picked up the bag on the ground. "I wonder where in the city they would keep him." He wondered aloud as he looked into the chinese contents of the bag.

Two eggrolls and a small container of beef and rice waits in the bag.

Cain says nothing, his eyes staring at the flame."our mission doesn't change brother .... We have a job to do ."

He pulls out one of the eggrolls. He takes a bite of of it as he goes over his thoughts. "Or just doesn't change for one. There are two of us bruder." He suggested. "I know he is important to you too." He added before he finished the eggroll.

Cain says nothing, eating an eggroll from his bag wordlessly.

Turni g he turns in the tv and you are greeted with a news report.

The details of your attack on the estate flash past the screen and the reporter is visibly trying to downplay the credibility of the eyewitness reports

"Huh, typical." He commented as he dug out the other eggroll. "I wonder if they'er doing the same to the all of his guards who saw me do it too." He said as he took a bite of the second egg roll. "How did yours go?" He asked cain.

The video cuts to A man , impaled on what seems to be a qickedly barbed cross of Ghoulbone.


The bone seems to actually have grown out of the mans body, ripping open his flesh and leaving him looking like a desiccated corpse.

Burias looked at him with a smirk. "Show off." He said as he finished the eggroll. "So who is next?" He asked as began devouring the beef and rice.

"We are hitting a party tomorrow night... Its a full estate gala, im going to need you to box them in..."

"Have any idea on how to do that? It'll be like trying to round up reluctant cats." He asked as he ate, watching the news.

Cain eats slowly as he tosses another log into the dying fire.

" rest up and bathe.. You smell like death."

He points upstairs to the upper floors to where the bath is.

He looks at his outfit. "I guess death smells like copper." he shrugged at all the dried blood on him. He sets aside the empty bag and containers as he stands up off the couch and heads for the stairs, whistling a chipper tone to himself.

The shower room is on and a small array of soaps sit waiting.

Below you hear Cain walk up to the piano , playing the opening that the vision of Jacob was playing

He sighed as he heard cain play the instrument. He sets the water on cold as he sets aside the mask and cowl. "Where?" He thought to himself as he remembers. "It is a huge city, that is for sure." He said, recalling the view he had from the catwalk.

The pace of the song picks up and you hear Cain slowly begin to sing, an eerie song, a sad song of loss, of pain.


You feel a familiar sensation and suddenly you feel nothing. The only sound you here is that music and behi d you you hear a snickering.

Burias froze up at the voice, doubting that was normal jacob. 'And I doubt I can get to the door now.' He thought to himself. He had to force himself to turn enough to look behind him to see.

Those dark soulless eyes stare into you, his Cheshire grin showing razor sharp teeth

"Ummm, what game and how?" He dared to ask, not sure what else to do now. Either he gets in the shower, or break through a wall. 'Those are not much of options.' A voice said to him.
