Kanta looked back at the adder for a moment and raised his hand to try to get him to quiet down as he looked back at the merc commander

"I would like to ask though...how do you know it was one of death adders that did this" asked Kanta as he waited for an answer

"a woman came to us...screaming and telling us that she had just gotteen away from them... We arrived in time to see two rotting wounds and a corpse...and these damn things are the only things around that can bite like that."

"and where the hell is the woman since she was probably the only one who could have identified the killer" said kanta as he laughed a bit

"oh hell maybe it was the woman herself since that killed your commander's daughter" kanta then added as he didn't want to rule that out

" speaking of witch where the fuck did she go?!"

"if this woman was the one to do it she must be long gone by now" said kanta as he looked at both the death adders and the mercs

A shot rings out and the merc is flu g back off of the block, a neat hole punched in his forehead.

The sound of gunfire washes over the area as an unknown force opens fire from positions behind the mercs

Men in uniforms and gasmask a wearing red arm lets fire at you from cover the dear adders and the mercs fall into defensive lines as a young boy runs to your side.

"I'll you what you should do get everyone and fall back this position that we have out here is going to get everyone killed" said kanta as he looked back towards the death adders and his mercs position

"fall back to my men's position with he death adder's they'll give you cover fire as you fall back" Kanta then added as he looked back towards the soldiers that were approaching as he loaded his shotgun

The mercs manage to regroup as the deaths adders save their elder just in time as the podium explodes.

Tarkus growls as the mercs focus fire heavily into the onrushing forces.

You manage to retreat. Your men and mercs manage to retreat into the rubble of the city taking no casualties in your flight.

Bullets crack off in the distance you mange to get all survivors to the trucks. Panic and fear run through the death adders and the mercs a they mill about listlessly

Kanta sighed as he looked at the mercs around him that came from the settlement that they were just at as they seemed to be at a lost

"might as well see if they have a command structure left then" Kanta said to himself as went to go look for Tarkus and then to see if the mercs have any officers left in there forces

tarkus is arguing with ethe boy from before. as you near the boy turns and spits on the ground.

the deathadders surround you as well, bowing their heads.

Kanta looked at the death adders weirdly for a moment as he then looked over to Tarkus

"Tarkus kept him busy for a bit" said Kanta as he then looked at the death adder's surrounding him

"ok you guys...what is it" as he then crossed his arms over each other and waited for one of them to speak up

"don't worry about I was just doing what I thought was right and all...well I wanted to asked you all to join this little rebellion that were having against oh siht and there ways as we could always need more hands that could help us out" said kanta as he waited for the woman to answer

" we will help and join you... We owe you that much."

She undoes her hood showing a very humanoid smile.

"Selara I have a problem over there right now your welcomed among me and the mercs" said Kanta as he then turned around and moved towards Tarkus to see what the hell this merc was arguing about
