"We must steel ourselves, for success comes with great sacrifice. There is no telling what has befallen a vessel with its Geller field down, and I would wish to provide the ruinous powers as few advantages as possible."
Shifting his attention from the projection to Lord Rex, Romulus stands straight and dutiful. "Lord, is there an estimated time for our extraction from the Fortuitous Seer? Or a fail-safe if we are met with," he pauses choosing his words carefully, "unexpected resistance?"

"Who ever mentioned teleportation Brother Conrad?..... However... now you have mentioned it I concur with Brother Romulus. It does have considerable tactical advantage.."
Looks thoughtfull
"So be it. It shall be arranged. I understand your .... fears Brother Conrad.... but your trust in the protection of the emperor shall keep you safe."
He gives Conrad a stern look of 'dare to object'
"As to time line and extraction. You will have a 12 hour window. Contact will only be possable from the comms relay aboard the Seer so if you have not met your objectives in that tme you will need to inform us of your situation.... Resistance should be met with the full force of the empire your are the best of your chapters and I am confident you can handle any given situation. Any other questions?"

Maximus looks at his brothers
"I'm ready to depart when everyone is, hopefully my brother's fears will not delay our strike." He looks at Conrad, waiting for his reaction. This will be good, he thinks.
"May the Emperor grant us strength to carry out His will."

Conrad bawks, "Ha! There is no fear in an Astartes, Brothers, merely a distrust of anything so...easily manipulated by our enemies. But so be it, let's just get this frag of a contraption going and be done with it." Conrad leaves the command room, heading to retrieve his wargear to be the first on the teleportation platform.

"Looks like some will need to go back to basic training. Well if the rest of you have no questions you are dismissed, prepare yourselves and report to the teleportation vaults in two hours."
With that he salutes and leaves the room providing you time to prep.

"Denied, I don't like the idea that you will have no support. Should you run into heavey resistance or Emperor forbid captured. It may give our enemy the upper hand. At least with your battle brothers you could put a dent in any adversaries you come across. I like the idea of dissabling the generators though. It would prevent any chance of escape and should it vessle proove too much of a reliability it would be a sitting target for our batteries. Very well, once aboard the Seer the squad is to disable the main drives. Continue as planned in all other matters.... understood?"

"I commend your bravery Brother and your willingness to get into battle but it is a fool who rushes in without his sidearm. Go make ready."
At that he turns once more and leaves.

"Brothers, in light of the strategic value of Brother Py'ron's suggestion perhaps once on board we should split into two teams. One to make for the generators to arrest the ships ability to escape, and another to commence the search for the sensory tablet. When the generators have been disabled the second team can regroup with the first. This would increase our coverage of the vessel, and provide a two pronged approach to throw off resistance and provide a greater chance for success."
Pausing to address the other Astartes. "I intend to head for the tablet with due haste. Might Captain Py'ron wish to head the group bound for the generators? Our strength would be divided, but I believe we might accomplish more by speed, than force. I would appreciate your views Brothers. If you agree, who will go in each team?"

The two hours of prep time fly by and you all make your way to the transporter. Another Templar has joined your group bringing the squad total to 6. He is already waiting by the control bay. There is a Techpriest and several servitor's working upon the consoles. The Techpriest approaches the party.
+++ My Lords Welcome. Your coordinates have been set. Our schematics calculate you will arrive in docking bay 3 on the Port side of the vessel. If you would step up on to the platform we can begin the transition. +++
Once you are in position the Techpriest returns to the console.
+++ May the emperor guide you back to us and may the great omnissiah guide you there. +++
At that a bright light fills your view. Your helmets HUD a wash of white. Your body feels as though your arms and torso are pulled up into the air faster than your abdomen and legs can keep up for a moment you feel weightless, pulled in several places at once. Then suddenly all the light goes out and you are faced with heavy darkness. As your visor adjusts your fellow brethren come into view.
Spread out you see you are all in a docking bay. The blood, the stench of decay slowly filters to your senses. Though you see no bodies the amount of bodily fluids strewn about the area to your experience shows at least 15 - 20 people were slaughtered here.
Lights flash intermittently, lighting the way to two exits. One on ground level where you stand and another up an open stairwell on to the balcony above.
