I hope this is the right place to place this... I didn't really see anything that lent itself to an interest gauging/sign up place, and this seemed like the next best thing.

Anyways, the premise is simple... We're all either Inquisitors or Inquisitorial Henchmen.

Note:
Background is what your character did before he or she was roped into the inquisition (gang member, farmer, factory worker, etc.). History is a personal history of your character.

It doesn't matter what branch of the Inquisition you choose. Hereticus, Xeno, Malleus, male, female, puritan, radical. The more varied, the more interesting things get.

This RP still has a lot of stuff rolling around in development. Seccy and I could use your help in nailing down the details.
Feel free to bounce your ideas on how to make it all the more epic.

Background: Ordo Xenos Inquisitor
History: Inquisitor Mephusio is a Radical Ordo Xenos Inquisitor haling from Vostroya who believes that the end always justify the means, and that using Xenos technology is in the best interests of the Imperium.
Equipment: Power Armour, Eldar Forceshield, Power Mace, Combi-Melta, Frag Grenades, Tau EMP Grenades, Necrontyr Tessarect Labyrinth, Auspex, and a Cyber Raven.
Appearence: Mephusio wears a navy-blue coat over his armour, and wears a wide brimmed dark green hat. The symbol of the Inquisition can be seen over the coats left breast, as well as decorating his power armour. The armour is a deep red colour decorated with charms and talismans. He has no Psychic Powers.

I had an amusing idea to try and join as the inquisitor that I made for the Grim darkness and try and give him some depth, but alas there is far too much RP content going on for me at the moment as it is, and playing another would be lunacy

history: fought on many worlds in the angleas sector and the sector obscurum. Well know by the orddo for having ties in all of the major ordo's and has a history of demon banishing. Given nemisis force sword by grey knight captain ++record lost++ for valour and determination on a demon world.

Wargear: Nemisis force sword combi-bolt pistol, kine blades & mind. Aegi armour, pure silver and black pads with blood red I for the inquisiton on the left pad. Warding book chained to right pad and hexxigrammic wards acid etched all over armour. Agei armour is the Gk armour btw
Physical Appearance: muscular build. Chin length black hair swept across one eye, Blue streak in hair due to radiation dark Blue eyes, pale complexion.

I never really "close signups" in my RPs. The exception is in the very rare event that my sanity takes leave of me and I try to run an over-the-internet pen 'n paper RPG and I want to keep the numbers down. Even after this thing gets started, you can sign up when you feel less overwhelmed.

OK. Since it seems we're all going to be running as Inquisitors, that doesn't leave people to play as henchmen. Therefore, I guess we're all going to be running our own Henchpeople ourselves.

As for what that can be? Knock yourself out.

If you want to have a squadron of Sisters of Battle? Go ahead.
A Demonhost? Knock yourself out. (Just be wary of a more Puritan Inquisitor who might take offense!)

I currently am conflicted as to how I want to actually write down my character, but I'll attempt to get this rolling before the end of the weekend, regardless of if I have a character or not.

Name: Vladislaus Heptmann
Gender: Male
Background: Ordo Malleus Inquisitor
Appearance: Heptmann is shaved completely bald, save for a goatee beard, mostly in order for the cables needed to connect to his psychic hood to not catch something. He also has a bionic left eye, with what looks like a control box of sorts sticking out of his left temple. His artificer armor is surprisingly humble when considering most suits like it are meant to be works of art: Its ceramite construction is painted matte black with gold Inquisitorial seals on the backs of the hands, and on the left knee. Aesthetically, it looks like fullplate armor one might more commonly find on a Feudal World. Worn over this is a dustercoat, made from the same bullet-resistant materials that uniforms of the Imperial Guard are. Over the shoulders are heavy ceramite pauldrons that connect to Heptmann's artificer armor.

History: Inquisitor Heptmann is a veteran of a century of service with the Ordo Malleus. Over the course of his long service, he has banished several daemons and crushed numerous cults beneath his power-armored boot. Inquisitor Heptmann is Puritan to the core, and has insinuated himself into this expedition to safeguard against daemonic artifacts.

Wargear: Artificer Armor, Rosarius, Daemonhammer, Psychic Hood, Frag Grenades, Psychotroke Grenades.
Other Equipment: Inquisitorial Rosette, flak-material dustercoat.
