As they walked through the meadows, one of the serpents slithered out from his back. It moved to a nearby patch of flowers, wrapped around small group, and picked them up. It slithered over his shoulder with it's gift and offered it to alice. "Because we know he wanted to." It said with a smile.

"LOOK AT THE PUPPY!" she said so happy about

Verschlinger gets close as he can and looks at the puppy, still confused as to why it would be in the middle of a meadow. All by itself.

" Can i take it?" she asked?

He looked at the little puppy and then at Alice. "You really want to keep the puppy? You understand the responsibilities you will take?" He asked, making sure she in fact does know what having a pet means.
