"We could ask one of the townspeople?" He suggested with a shrug. He looks at the nearest one. "Excuse me, can you help us?" He asked politely.

He was kinda surprised that someone is talking to him instead of the normal, ' And what the fuck are you?' treatment."Would you know if and where the butcher shop in this town?" He asked.

"Yes, he was." He said, still unsure. "So down the street then." He said as he walked her and th puppy down the directed path.

she took his arm and walked with him while the puppy rides in her bag

He let his uneasiness slide away for now as he held her hand again. He whistle a tune as they walked, slightly muffled by the gasmask.

she laied her head on his arm getting sleepy again the puppy fell asleep in the bag

He smiled a little as she laid her head. "We'll get some food, and then off to sleep. Sound gut?" He asked her quietly.

He made her stop, growing more than just concern now. "Alice, are you ok dear?" He asked. He knew the had a full day, but this seemed a bit much now.

"Oh this is not good." He said, holding Alice. He picked her up and carried her back to the inn, not sure where else to go right now.

'Something weird is going on, and it's not the paranoia talking this time either.' He thought to himself. He kept going, but now he decided to head out of the town, hoping if she was out of the area, she would be fine.

when he walked out of the area she gasped loudly almost like she couldn't breath the puppy started barking wanting out

"Danken Sie den Göttern!" He said when she woke up. "Alice, you ok? What happened!?" He asked as he stopped and kneeled, using his leg and arm to prop her up as he laid her down.

She looked at him " the air just was so thick i felt so tired and i dont know " she said
the puppy crawled out and nuzzled her arm

"The air?" He said as was about to stratch his head, but was stopped by his gasmask. "Well, that might explain why I was fine then" he thought aloud as he let his hand back down. He looked back down to her. "Well going anywhere near that town will be bad for both of you. So what else can we do?" He wondered.
