" maybe we need to get one huh Artemis" she said picking him up

"Not sire if they make gasmasks for puppies." He said as he let her lay on him for now. "Know any place that would have gasmasks?" He asked her as he tried to think what could be in the air in that town.

she shook her head no as she pet Artemus.
" we can always have a custom mask made for him " she said

"I guess it would not be too hard. I never really thought of making puppy masks before." He said with a chuckle. But then he sighs "To be honest I'm not sure if I want either one of you two near that place. Even with masks on." He admitted.

" what happened when i was out?" she asked
the puppy nuzzled his arm to thank him for saving him

"Well that was it, nothing. They all acted as if they did not see it or it was completely normal to them." He told her as he petted Artemus. "There is something wrong about that town, more than just the air." He added.

"Gut, we are all in agreement." He said with relief. "We will just go around, or find another route." He said said looking around. He looked back to her. "As long as you are feeling up to it of course. You ok? Tired or anything?" He asked her, making sure she was fine.

the puppy whimpered hungry as well

"Hmm. Ok, I think I have an idea." He said as he mulled over his thoughts. "You two stay out here, far away from the damn place. I'll go get somethings from the butcher shop and come back." He explained.

"alright we will lay here waiting for you" she said to him

"You two stay safe." He said. He stood up and started heading for the town. He was going to have to keep himself in check, or the town will be painted a disturbing red.

He kept silent as he walked to the town and it's shop, keeping the serpents hidden, for now. He was already starting to feel bad for leaving her alone.

As he walks toward the shop, he tightens the mask more. Just to be sure. 'Lets just get this done and get back to her.' He thought to himself. He heads toward the butcher's, picking up his pace.

The butchers shop was open and they had a wide veriety of meats from pork, veal, beef, vinnisen, fish and more.

He looked for the butcher themself so he could place an order and go. He also tries to make note hom many peopple are in the shop as well.

"how can i help you?" he asked him putting gloves on his hands

"How much for a few pounds of beef?" He asked the butcher. He kept his head looking at the butcher, but behind the red lenses, his eyes kepy looking around. He's still not not sure what to expect with this town.
