She nodded and she set it down moving the meat to make the steam escape and cool down for Artemis.
" now don't scarf it down ok?" she told him and smiled and sat him down to eat

He prepped another bowl of beef, this time for Alice. "And of course there's your's." He said handing her her food.

she took it and smiled
"thank you" she said and blew on i to cool it down

"No problem." He said with a smile. He grabbed one last bowl. "And now.." but before he could finish he heard a noise and looked up. The four serpents where above him looking down with smiling eager faces. He sighed. "Right." he said. He put a small portion in his bowl, and placed the frying pan with the left over meat aside. They dashed over and ate the beef, hissing at each other every now and then to restablish a pecking order, even though it changes everytime they eat.

Alice smiled and shook her head and began to eat petting Artemus
Artemus just barked and ate.

"I'm just glad it's only the four of them." He said with a smirk as he ate his portion. They quickly finished their food and laid in the grass either behind or around him, sleeping off the meal. "How are you now?" He asked, still a bit paranoid after what happened in the strange town.

He smiled, evidently relieved a bit more than before now. "Good, I was kind of worried." He admitted. "You know, passing out and such." He said, finishing his the sentence quietly, the idea of it still....bad to say the least. But his smile came back as he put an arm around her. "But as you'er better" he said.

"yes they do" she said picking up Artemus and laying down pulling him down with her to snuggle to him.

He smiled after being pulled down and with her snuggled. "Goodnight." He said. "I love you." He told her quietly.

Verschlinger just smiles, as he let her go to sleep. Blushing a little himself, on his pale face. He closed his eyes and went to sleep, holding her in his arms.

Alice Dreamed that night no nightmares for her tonight.
she woke up when the sun rose and decided to go get something to eat she put his mask on and went to town getting food and coming back she hopped she would get back before he woke up

He woked up a little groggy, but notices something. There was emptiness infront of him. He bolted up into a sitting up position, the serpents spring up behind him from their slumber. "Alice?" He called out. He looks at Artemus. "Have you seen her?" He asked the puppy, not sure if he could provide an answer.

Artemus barked looking at alice who was walking back

"aww you woke up i wanted you to wake up to good smelling food" she said to him

He took a deep breath, trying to relax. "Sorry to have ruined that." He said with a tired smile. The serpents laid back down, grumbling.
