She walked over and handed him his mask and sat down prepping to cook

He sat the gasmask on the briefcase and stretched out his back. "How was your visit then?" He asked her, curious."

" it was alot better with the mask" she said cooking the food

"I should have guessed." He chuckled. He stood up and straighten out his suit and tie, smoothing out any wrinkles and loose grass. "What did you get anyways?" He asked her.

"Eggs, bacon, bread, and juice" she said looking up at him

"Oh wow." He said surprised. "That's a breakfeast." He said, not having such a large one since he got the serpents. He sat back down, ready to help her cook if she wants it.

she hummed a song and cooked not needing help and did tricks for him.

He watched her in awe as she went about cooking breakfeast, doing tricks he know he would mess up horribly. 'And possibly painfully.' a serpent chuckled in his head.

She put the food for him on aplate and handed it to him
"tada" she said smiling and threw pork belly up in the air for the serpents

One of the serpents snagged it out of the air and the other three tore into what they could. "Danke." He said thankfully as he took the plate.

Alice smiled and took her plate and made artemus a plate as well and began to eat

He digged into his meal with the same vigour as the serpents would have. One of them popped around his shoulder. "Remember, chew your food, not inhale it." The serpent chuckled to him before moving back with the others.

Alice ate gracefuly and relaxed trying to get strength back

He cleared his plate. "For once, I had a meal." He said, looking at the serpents, who smiled innocently. "What?" They asked with the same smiles. He shook his head and looked back at Alice. "Thank you."

Alice smiled at him
"you are most welcome i enjoyed it i like making food almost as much as i enjoy making clothes" she said to him

"And you are very good at both". He complimented to her. "How did you learn to do either of them anyways?" He asked her, curious.

She smiled
"well when i was younger i had to cook i lost my mom when i was young so i had to take care of my dad who never really took care of me.... i had to learn how to sew his clothes and cook him food and clean... all i ever got from him was beatings and more but thats a different story" she said to him

[Armoured Priest]

Verschlinger was silent for a few moments, althought the serpents tensted as if agitated. He put an arms around her. "I'm sorry." He said finally, sadly. Beating of a woman and children, was something he abhored.

"why it's all over with theres no need to be sorry you did nothing" she said to him

"Nien, I know. It's just....I'm sorry dear." He said again, helding her still. "It's something that.......... never sits well with me." He admitted, trying to figure good way to explain. "And I don't want anything to hurt you."
