She slowly stopped and started coming back to reality. she looked up at Verschlinger and closed her eyes laying her head on his shoulder
"Verschlinger " she said softly

"Hello Alice." He said quietly. He held her, the serpents coiled over her and his arms. "I'm sorry." He told her.

Alice hugged him and staied to him like glue she held him tight and didn't want to let go

"Don't be." He told her, embracing her like she was to him. "It's not your fault. Not one bit." He said. He rocked he softly.

"Shhhh, no you'er not." He told her quietly still rocking her. He looked down to her. "I love you and always will." He assured her, holding her still.

He put a leather gloved hand on her cheek. He took his mask back off, and looked in her eyes with his own strange ones. "You know I mean it." He said to her.

He looked at her with a smile, one that became a sad one "I'm going to ge get what we need, and maybe some other things." He told her. "I'll be back as soon as I can. I want you to be safe while I'm gone. Know where you can go do that?" He asked her.

"If you want. Do what's ok for you, ok?" He said. He sighs, putting his gasmask back on and picked up his black metal briefcase. "Be safe please." He told her, before he started walking toward her hometown.

As he walked to his town, he went ovet a mental checklists of the material he will have to look for in her store to make some gasmasks. He also hope to make a stop on the way out too, if the town had a jeweler that is.

There was a man in her shop and the shop was now a mess the man looked pissed and was looking for something or some one

He stopped at the doorway, confused by the sight before him. And somewhat angered, considering it was alice's store. "Excuse me, can I help you?" He asked the obviously irritated man

"Where is my A-Alice!" he yelled throwing a bottle on the ground

He looked at the man suspiciously. "I do not know." He told him. "And why would you be looking for her?" He asked. He put down his briefcase for now.
