There were beast like creatures with angel wings they screeched and flied around her and him there were countless of them screeching at each other

"Oh......well...Scheiße." he swore quietly, seeing the massive flock of things flying around them. "...We'er good, but not that good." the serpents said as they slithered out and looked around.

Alice she screamed
"GO AWAY!" she yelled and she threw needles every where wildly

"Scheiße!" he swore once more, as he tried to make sure not to get hit by one of the needles thrown by Alice. "Alice, can you even see them?" he asked as he kept trying to dodge, wondering if she could somehow see them now or was just panicing.

Alice shook her head
"no but i want them to go away!" she yelled
not even knowing it she hits many of them confused they didnt know what to do

He quickly took of his gasmask and held it out for her. "You want them to go away? You will need to be able to hit them." he tried explained to her, betting her needles would put a bigger dent in the numbers than just four serpents.

Alice put it on and she screamed
"WHAT THE HELL?!"

"Dear, less yelling, more needles. You can make them go away now." he urged her, now not able to fight the things now. "Please honey?" he asked, not liking not able to help now since he can't see them now.

Alice grabbed her head
"no no! " she yelled
" i can't " she said to him
Shirahime appeared looking pissed
"pick her up and go i can only kill them off for as long as i am manifested now GO!" she said as she jumpped up and grabbed one of the angles by the face and crushed it in her hand

He picks up alice and does as she asked, going for the door. "Artemus, we'er leaving!" he shouted to the pup, making sure it knew. He kicked the front door open and ran out with Alice in his arms.

Alice was holding her head
"IT HAD MY MOTHERS FACE!" she screamed in extreme terror that she had saw her mothers face with one of her needles through it
Artemus ran after kicking the door shut behind him

Verschlinger shook his head as he kept moving and carried her, knowing the problem now. After he got a good bit of distance, he slowed down the past from a run to a brisk pace. He gently took the mask off her and just hooked it on his waist for now. "I'm sorry, I didn't know." he said to her, not realizing what he did till now.

Alice hugged him and shook
"it was awful " she said

"I could only imagine." he said quietly to her as he hugged her. He kept walking up the path they were on before, hoping that they were close. "And we doubt it's the last of it." The serpents said behind him, staying out for now.

she staied silent she wasn't crying but she just stared in to space

He was quiet for a little while as he walked on. He looks down to her and sees her spacing out, growing worried. "Alice, it was not her. It was only the things, using what hurts you the most." he tried to explained without hurting her psyche any more than it has been. He rocks her little in his arms, just trying to comfort her now.

She looked up at him
"please dont " she said " i feel sick"

"I'm sorry." he apologized as he stopped. He kept carrying her though, until she said or asks otherwise. He had a moment of paranoia and one of the serpents slithered down and grabbed his mask and put over his face for him to see through the lenses. "just to be sure." he said to himself as he checked for more of the things.

they walked and he knew he was close because he could hear a fant voice in the back of his head it was her in hell talking to some one
alice laied there and hugged him

Verschlinger smiled as he continued walking the path still carrying Alice. 'I'm guessing we'er getting closer now.' he thought to himself as he listen to the voices. 'Wonder what the carnival will even look like.'
