he smiled and looked at verschlinger

" she looks exactly like her mother almost like a clone " he said to him

"Really? I didn't know that." he said, not sure what else to say. The last time Alice saw her mother's face, she started screaming. But he wasn't sure how she would react now.

alice smiled at him and kissed his cheek

"my mother was beautiful" she said to him

He smiled and relaxed a little. "Kind of figured so if he said you two looked very alike." he said as he gave her a side hug.

"oh your so sweet" she said to him with a smile

He chuckled a bit. "Maybe." he shrugged. He looked down to her belly. "I'll admit, raising you is going to be something." he said as he rubbed her belly.

she giggled and smiled the baby kicked when he touched her belly

Verschlinger laughed with her. He stopped rubbing her belly and leaned back into his chair. He felt a lot more relaxed and better now compared to after answering the door earlier. He looked over to the man. "How do you feel about being a grandfather?" he asked Alice's dad.

"to be honest.... old" he said to him with a chuckle

He smirked. "At least you won't be getting any older now." He chuckled. "Well, physically I think." He added. "Well, this has been....a day." He said, not sure how to accurately describe the whole thing.

Alice smiled and kissed Verschlingers cheek

" i'm tired i need some sleep " she said looking at her belly
" lets go to bed baby" she said to her baby

her father smiled

"i should leave you two alone " he said standing up

"Guess it's time for sleep then." he said, kind of thankful that it is. He stood up and ready to help her get up from her chair if she needed the help.

" oh boy this will be tough" she said smiling

He chuckled a little. "Oh I doubt it'll be that bad." he said with a smile as he takes up her hand and helps pull her up gently.

"oh boy" she said feeling the baby move

He put an arm around her shoulders to help her get to the bed. "Seems a little restless now isn't it?" he said looking down to Alice's belly as she held it.

She smiled and nodded getting up and walking to the room with him

" time to go to sleep little one" she said smiling

He chuckled a little as he went with her but then was quiet for a moment. "I wonder if there's a clock that can keep a better track of hell time." He thought loud, thinking of how fast time has been moving.

"well it's just where we are at" she said as she hunched over

"Vershlinger!" she called out to him

"Ok this one sounds real!" He said starteled as he goes back to Alice to help her lay down on the bed or maybe take a seat
