So quite a few months ago you might remember I put out an application form for a position on GWRS of "SM-CM". While we did get some interest, those candidates took on other responsibilities instead.

Last week we received a fully filled out application from REAPER xDAx. While it was the only application received, that didn't automatically mean it would be accepted; so it went to Inner Council for a long review and debate. After the debate closed it was unanimous that we should accept the application, and so we have.

The position is largely a self-driven opportunity, so what cool new activities will come from this is anyone's guess! The CM will also be largely responsible for running the SM based events, so he will be assisting me with the current lot before continuing on to arrange future events.

As a final comment, on behalf of Staff, congratulations REAPER on your promotion. May you enjoy the paperwork! *snicker*

Thanks guys. I have personally enjoyed Gothic Wars and the community over the last few months. This was the main reason I applied, because I wanted to try to help out and keep the community together. I am not perfect but will do the responsibility's of this position to the best of my ability. The two tournaments are coming along nicely but I will need the community's help to get them finished. Will soon be talking with chapters and players to see if there is anything to be done that will speed up these games. Please send me a PM over Gothic Wars if you need help with anything related to Space Marines and I will do my best to keep all of you enthusiasts happy.

I will take you up on that offer. My idea was after these tournaments were over to post in the shadow council. Then we could throw ideas back and forth tell enough leaders thought there chapters would be interested.
