yeah thats how i have always viewed Him, and thats one of the many reasons i like 40k so much is all its pseudo-religiousness

Jesus was starting a religion and dieing for people's sins, the emperor did not instead he decided to serve the best way he can, by providing a defense against the darkness carving an empire for the human race, not to mention he unified the people's of terra, something Jesus could never do. but all Jesus did was start a religion, he could have been a crazy psycho for all we know.

We were not saying he is straight up JESUS all we were saying is he can be compared to a Jesus/god type figure. For example having to kill his favored son Horus after he had betrayed him, is a very close analogy to god banishing his favorite angel Lucifer, or having sacrificed himself in order to benefit all mankind could be related to what Jesus did. That is why I said PSUEDO-RELIGIOUS, meaning somewhat based on actual religion but not completely. I also said, that is what I saw him as, key in on that "I" meaning that is what I believe not some cold hard fact. Heck the counsel of Nikea where magnus's powers were striped from him is just a play on words to the Nicea counsel in which a group of people got together in the 4th century BC to sort through all the scriptures and put together what they believed to be the true and complete bible. oh and this thread has officially gotten off topic.
