[Keiya]

Setting - (All you need to know for now)

Year - 2712
Date - February 27th
Continent - North America
Area - Country town of Nozek
Weather - Spring/Warm/Breezy

Life is fairly simple growing up here. The townsfolk know one another. School carries on yearly. The sound of Jets screech through the air from the nearby military installation. There is no hostility to speak of. No distress or uneasiness. People keep their doors unlocked at night around here. Every day at the same time, a group of five children gather at the outskirts of the military strip to watch the soldier work and the aircraft take off and land. They dream of joining one day with hopes of being taken to far away places. They dream of doing this together, keeping a knot of friendship and trust bound between them as they have since they all first met in Minor-Grade nearly 10 years prior.

Damien, who's father is the utmost authority on the military base. Robin, sister of Gabriel, who's parents are professors at the local University. David, who has never mentioned much about his family life but has always held popularity with everyone he comes in contact with. And lastly, Joel. Joel, who's homelife is cascaded in gloom - Damiens' closest friend among the group.

There has always been a strange comfort between them all as if they were family from day one. Everything just fit. They never fought, never argued, and always supported one another. It was a perfect life.. A perfect world for them. So here they sit, watching and waiting for the first aircraft to lift from the surface of the planet and take to the skies-

I will go over characters and their distribution here. You can select a secondary role if you wish - we will have multiple characters as we go along. You will be able to customize your character around their lifestyles and attitudes to a very generous degree, but basic details of them will be given below.

• Character Details (Revealed as needed)

Joel - Joel is a very proud individual for being his age. He is very fond of his friends and will do everything in his power to support them. Flashing a soft smile under his hay-colored hair, Joel is quick to temper and seems to be hiding an underlying issue that only his best friend, Damien, is somewhat aware of.

Damien - Damien is the son of Commader Storms. Brought up in a militaristic household, he is used to the lifestyle of a young soldier. His homelife is very well and fortunate due to his fathers' status. He is very kind, outgoing, and overall a likable person with a strange ability to connect with people, no matter their walk of life.

Gabriel and Robin - Brother and Sister, their lives revolve around one another. Unlike other siblings, they do not bicker and argue. They seem to share a deep bond, always there for one another. Robin is quicker to temper than her brother who always presents himself calmly and with purpose. As if white and black, they balance one another. From their upbringing by Professors, they are both highly intelligent, but only Gabriel finds it likeable while Robin takes on a more casual attitude.

David - Not much is known about David besides he is usually quiet and detached. He has never encountered much confrontation due to his popularity and ability to draw attention. He has been regarded as very handsome, but has never taken interest in a partner.

Brandon - Brandon is new to the location. He has yet to make any friends but stands out as successful and talented. Without parents, Brandon is part of a juvenile safeguard group. He was transferred into the area through an unknown process only to him and the organization. He keeps to himself mentally, but externally he is prideful and somewhat arrogant. Brandon is also extremely physically skilled - carrying himself with calculated balance and often finds any chance to show off his agility. A certain group of friends has caught his attention since day one, he has yet to approach them.


• Secondary Characters (Information to follow as needed)

Master Commander Storms - Anhil Storms; a man of pride, loyalty, outstanding power, and Master Commander of the Lute Vernii Military installation for as long as anyone cares to remember. He is an experienced, stable, and outspoken man which takes little liking to deceit. Anhil climbed the ranks of the military to his position over the years with struggle and hard work, keeping his head level the whole way. His upkeep of the military installation has been stellar through his entire career. Soldiers are well trained. Finances well maintained. And best of all - his true objective safe. Little is known as to what the true purpose of the installation is, only that it is there for the protection of the small town it accompanies. Anhil takes the security of his home town seriously, providing a sense of safety to all who hear of his acts. He runs his home life in a kind manner, however - his son, Damien, being the most precious thing to him. Although his militaristic attitude comes off as harsh from time to time, he truly breathes for his Son. There is something in his stomach that turns, however, whenever he looks into his sons' eyes - something hidden that he dare never say. This is a weight that he has carried with him for nearly two decades and has been effecting him increasingly as of late. What could this be?


 

Structures/Facilities/Cities

Vox - The City of Vox is a small countryside town situated along a great river. The river branches off and feeds into the city providing it with natural waterways that are used as decoration and scenic aesthetics. The town is as your normal modern town, doted in single story houses with outstanding two stories here and there, paved roads, vehicles, and people skuttling about. Lining the city on the sides is a large, dense forest from which the town obtains its abundant game. The 4th side is dotted with a massive open field, a few trees speckling here and there along it's emptiness before finally arriving at the large military installation. By day, aircraft soar overhead leaving to and returning from training exercises while the city and it's population of 9,328 go about their daily business, welcoming the trade caravans moving into and out of town via the only main road leading into the forest to their distant neighboring town over 200 miles away. At night, the people settle in, the street lamps are ignited, and rain pelts the streets.

Lute Vernii (Military Installation)- Lute Vernii is the military installation that dots the northern side of the City of Vox. It maintains 5 aircraft hangars, 5 armored division stores, and 3000 troops, roughly a third of the local town size yet composed of very few town-folk. Most of the soldiers and staff live on the base in a residential area built of towering apartment-like complexes save for a few sole individuals. The base is entirely self-sustaining. Aside from it's advanced aircraft and weaponry, the base is very basic - a single 4 lane runway spreads across it's surface with concrete and wire fencing lining it's perimeter. The nearby river is tapped into and runs into the base, vanishing below the west end of the runway, it's destination unseen.


 

Applying

To get this RP rolling, we will need to gather at least 4 people in total which I believe we have, but I can always create roles for more. I need anyone interested to PM me their details and decide on which characters they would like to play. Please select only 1 primary character. You may put yourself forth for multiple secondary roles as you wish, however.

 

Play Style

We will go about this RP without the Dice Method. Much like any other RP I run, we will go by use of sense. If combat takes place, please be detailed and descriptive without overpowering yourself or I will have to take over. There are certain advances with these individuals that will give a leading edge, but not to an extreme. All will be detailed in the RP itself. This is a story, afterall.

Agatone picked him up just minutes before you posted. I was expecting PM's also. Haha. Gabriel is avail, as is Robin. I'm thinking of adding in another character that I have decided to hold off on - perhaps you'd fit the bill on him. Let me post that information and you give it a read. If you don't enjoy it there are other Secondary roles that come into play a short way into the story that should suit you.

I have important roles that need to be played by others. I can set Gabriel and Robin on cruise control and use them in the mean time, but people are missing out if they don't take them up. In fact, a single person could play both. That would likely be best as they are so closely related.

I will update two of the secondary characters shortly. I would like someone without a character to take either of them up.
