The birth world of humanity, Terra, split up into warring factions. Endless violence ensued. Out of the bloodshed and shadows a figure wreathed in light rose from the darkness. He was the Emperor. For years his armies fought and died. Dictators and cruel warlords were cast down from their perches. Out of the filth, rose the Imperium. The Emperor in all his greatness provided a gift to humanity, the gene engineered Primarchs, but such gifts were cast from Terra and were thrown amongst the stars, but the Emperor still had their gene blue prints, and from that came the mighty space marines. Twenty legions were createdone for each primarch. Setting out from Terra, with the help of The tech guilds of Mars, the Emperor set out on a great crusade.
