Kastriv stepped clear of the pod after assault elements of the squad had moved forward, as legion tactica indicated; he would provide support and cover from behind. He drew a breath, steadying his aim. He pulled the trigger, sending a bolt round down range. Hit. A heretic exploded as the mass reactive bolt penetrated his weak armour. Another trigger squeeze, another dead heretic He watched as another squad member fired a plasma pistol, blowing apart a statue. Kastriv moved forwards, firing a volley into a tight squad of them.
"Brother Kastriv to squad. A large concentration of forces lie to the west. It's a safe bet that their leader is with them. Marking on your HUDs now. Next move?"

Marcus ran out of his pod with his blade ready his hatred taking over him, he rushed into the thickest points of religious guards and began hacking and slashing those that tried to put him down "You should all despair your lifes are worthless you fools i shall help you to your pathetic god" with fire in his very soul marcus blocked a spear from his rear and thrust it into another warrior with the spears user still holding it then Marcus smashed the Warriors skull to pieces with his fist after the all zealots around him fell and his armour was stained with the blood of his enemies he began noticing his tactical display and began moving to his objective

Marcus ran straight for his objective disregarding squad and legion protocole his rage at the misguided reached inhuman and astartes levels. he hacked and slashed his way towards the cathedral when brothers fell around him his rage was fueled into an inferno which could only be vanquished with the death of the religous leader. chain blade reving Marcus lept into a combat with three other legionairs fighting a horde of religous guards one by one the misguided fell one of the guards wore ornate armour and had what seemed to be a powered claymore Marcus engaged him instantly.

the guard swung his blade and cut Marcus' sword in half at that point Marcus grabed the guards elbo and with a sickening sound he ripped the guards arm free and the blade came crashing down to the ground Marcus picked ut the blade and thrust it into its former masters head plate when the enemy lay dead he turned to the three brothers one fell but they were victorious and departed to the palace

"Got it Icarus, moving up. We shall be with you shortly brother." Kastriv reloads as he moves forwards, stepping over a fallen heretic.

"moving up now brother" I run from cover to cover "brothers cover me I need to get in the open to get a clear shot" I move into the open and bring my lascannon to my shoulder "taking the shot brothers" my finger squese's the triger but before I can I get nocked on my back I look down it looks like a small bullet hole sqare in my chest but it feels like ive been hit by a thunder hammer "(cough cough) B...Brothers s...snipers on the balcany" I reach for my back and there is a fist sized hole. A battle brother Kastriv I think runs out and drags me back into cover.

Groaning under the strain of another astartes, Kastriv hauls Icarus back to cover. "Brothers... Icarus is safe, I shall watch over him. Go forward and bring retribution to our enemies." He kneels by Icarus' side. "Easy brother. You took quite a hit there." He calls for an apothecary, doing his best to stem the bloodflow from the wound until help arrives.

"Brother it ia just a flesh wound i'll be fine" even as I say this I can feel my secondary heart kicking in that and the fact the blood hasn't clotted yet proves its much worse than a mere flesh wound.

"Hold still. It won't clot properly if you move." Kastriv shot a glance over the battlefield, ducking back under cover as enemy fire stitched their position. "Right. Slight problem. Stay down" he cautioned before popping up to return fire.

A hand presses against Icarus shoulder, pulling him back." No brother, it is not." Jerzo states, his white and grey armor covered in the blood of both the enemies and some of his own brothers. His crackling power maul falls to this side as he kneels to adminsiter aid." Now stay still, this will only take a moment." He informs Icarus as he scans him for damage.

A cultist is thrust backwards, with a crush rib cage, after my maul pummels him. A cultist thrusts his blade forward, I step to the left and I crush his skull with a backhand swipe of my weapon. Seeing a couple forming up with a heavy weapon I pelt them with bolt shots. Soon dozens of other heavy weapons are being deployed. "Squad take out their support fire, so as to protect our brothers that are just arriving."

"Brothers we must secure the landing zone, those heavy guns must be destroyed or they'll will be more dead to mourn."

"Order recieved" Kastriv responds as sniper rounds chip the masonry around his head. "I'll do what i can, but we're pinned here. Requesting support against those snipers." The marine sighted a crew and took them down with a precise burst from his bolter. "Sooner rather than later, if someone wouldn't mind."

*opens squad comms* "brothers i am faceing heavy resistance from these basterds at their main gate and i doubt my one melta bomb will effect the situation" moments later multiple company battle brothers came to aid and the battle raged outside the main gate with hordes of fanatics charging outside the saftey of the palace Marcus cleaved one of the fanatics in half with the weapon he claimed together Marcus and his brothers sliced through the horde every step getting them closer to their objective *opens squad comms* "i am heading into the palace to kill the misguided leader i will have his head before the day is done" *cuts squad comms*
