Installation Instructions

• Download File From Link Below
• Aquire Serial Number
• Uninstall Previous Mod Version/s
• Activate/Run The Installer
  
  • Point Installer To Your DOW-SS Folder
  • Wait Ages (5-30 minutes)
• Boot SS
• Game Manager -> Apocalypse New Races -> *Activate*

 
Upgrading

Previous Dumbass Version: Uninstall From "Control Panel" -> "Add/Remove Programs"
Custom Mod Install: Delete all Demon, Daemonhunter, Apocalypse, Objective and Tyranid Folders and .module files!

 
Obtaining A Serial

• Serials will only be given to members with over 100 posts.
• Serials can only be gained directly from Crucias
• There are only 200 unique serials
• This is so non-GWRS individuals don't use our installer, therefore preventing violation of the Terms and Conditions set forth by the Mod Makers (a courtesy requirement, not legal)

Known Issues and FAQ

• Install and Uninstall take ages - 4GB mod!
• Why all the passwords? - A mix between security and experimentation
• Special Eldar Army schemes have no banners by default - you can manually add them and save it over the default
• Tyranid Hive Fleet is absolutely massive! - Duh! - well you just have to deal with it sadly
• When will the next version be? - January sometime, there's a massive bugfix coming for the mod. The installer will be less fancy though because my trial period will be up and I'm not paying $1000! I'll either make it an install-on-top patch or redo the whole thing - tba later

Read This Post Carefully

Project Dumbass is an installer which installs over 7 unique mods and packs in a certain order to ensure compatibility when played multiplayer against other members with the same mods. Three of those mods have "Installation and Usage Agreements" that state their work can only be copied or altered by their permission, or for the use of a select community and therefore not made publicly available.

In order to satisfy those requirements, the installer I made can only be released to members of our community. A random person could easily signup, get a code and then bugger off - resulting in us violating the Agreement for using those mods; therefore I had to set a bar by which to judge giving out codes. This approximate benchmark for releasing a code was set at a member having 100 posts or more.

i would like a serial, i did a custom install myself but for some reason i cant play with prosperan so i want to install this to make sure that we have the same version of everything

That's most likely to do with download or upload corruption (assuming his PC isn't messed up). However if it works then who cares right?
