Just a notice,

While this is the same system Throne Geld ran off we are not using it for that. It's still a WIP (work in progress) but we intend it to be a forum version of PS3 Trophies and Xbox Achievements.

We will keep you posted as to cool things to come!

Nice, since you want it to be like SEN trophies / Xbox achieves I'm assuming there'll be no shop, or am I wrong, or is this a run on sentence that just won't stop?

Hmmm, when you say score based on trophys is it the more teophys the better or the quality? Cause i have like 3 plats since 4 months ago when i started trophy hunting.

People really need to read and consider what I write better oO

Like Trophies and Achievements so much that you get some noticeable reward for participating on these forums. Othrim currently has to manually assign your awards so we would like to automate them alongside a point based system like Xbox has.

Thankyou. every week i go throught the whole members list. I asked in a post somewhere that if people thought they had reached an award lv to let me know so I could post it but the automated system would be great if it can be done. I have loads more awards in the process.

Apulo would have to write the code and he is taking a leave of absence from forum code because he has spent a long time without breaks working on it. Rather surprised it's not got automation built in to be honest

I have done so. All stat based awards are now awarded automagically every morning at 1am.

Let me explain this a little better:

Forumscore is based on certain forum activity as described here http://gothicwars.or...s/newpoints.php

Each time you do one of these actions on the forums, you get a number of points. The actual awards are based on thresholds set by Othrim (5 thank yous, 500 posts, etc...).

So Forumscore is like XBOX Live Gamerscore and the awards are like Achievements. While they are related, they aren't linked in any way.

Well, the system is but it has no real value. It's more a bragging right than a requirement to participate (like Graia was). Forumscore really means nothing in the long run except to measure the length of your forum *CENSORED*.

Need some new recruting awards, mine is going to max out
