Thaes could only smile and laugh as the little creature attempts to chew his claw off. "This is not my first time dealing with ravenous creatures little one." he said to it as he picked it up, the critterling still clamped to his hand. "Let's get you something to eat though shall we?" he asked it as he carried it over to one of the fallen varghen, carrying it in one hand while it chewed on the armor. Almost like a puppy.

The beast lets your hand go begrudgingly and crawls into a gapin hole in the varghen a chest.

You hear te sounds of bones ripping and flesh being chewed until within moments you see the corpses chest explode and the beast commiically pulls itself out forge ruptured cavity

"Well, I bet you'er in a better mood now." Thaes said, a smirk on his reptilian features, as he crouched down beside the feasting critterling. "Now, with the chance to be fed regularly and such, are we going to be a little more calmer?" he said to the specimen, pretty sure the thing could understand him, especially with the device grafted on to it.

It nods and crawls up yor back, nestling imperiously on your harnesses tank as johten growls

" excuse me princess, your mutter is waiting and she has cooked."

Jarvan claps his hands together , removing the apparatus on his back and checking it.

" I'm going to have to have her work on this."

"Looks like the chitterling not the only one grumpy when it's hungry." Thaes remarked with a smirk as he stood up now as he looked over to the device Jarvan was examining. "What is that anyways?" he asked him, never seen such a contraption.

"Interesting, very interesting." he said, most of his attention now strongly focused on the device as he tries to make heads and tails with it and the parts that make up it. "Something I should ask her about after I finally get to say hi to her." he said absently as he still looked over the machine.

The brutal heat doesnt seem to bother you however as you traverse the plains and soon, in the distance you can see the walls of the sanctuary.


Johten stops short, and sighs sadly.

"I didnt think id have to come back here again..."

While he did not mind the heat, he was glad he had his enclosed helm against the sun and his grey and black uniform to protect his skin from the sun. He actually felt like he was in good spirits till he overheard the tigers. "I feel like I am missing something here." Thaes remarked as he looked at the two of them, wondering what they were referring about.

Two figures stand in the distance.

One is a familiar face. Your mother, resplendent in her age looks at you. She seems to barely have aged, she wears a typical lab outfit , her hands folded.

But at the sight of the second woman johten freezes.

The woman wears a heavy white robe, but you notice that her eyes are covered by a red cloth.


" lillana.."

He breathes , a slight tremor to her voice.

Thaes couldn't still believe that he was really about to see his mother again, she looked excatly like how he remembered her when he was a juvenile komodo. Although he became puzzled when he saw the other women who seemed to be blind hinted by the red cloth, which was answered when he heard Jothen speak. "Johten....are you ok?" he asked, never hearing the tiger's tone such as this before. He figured out that there was a relation, but he was still lost as to what and why the tiger was losing his nerves.

Johten goes pale and looks at a distant figure.

" oh would you look at that..... The field worker fell into a ditch."

He moves away from you and disappears out of sight as jarvan guides you close.

" his wife..... She went blind because of johtens call to get the water pump fixed... Didn't leave us enough to get the flower she needed to reverse what happened."

Your mother smiles and her tail curls in the dust.

" thaes.... My pale boy it has been so long since I have seen you..."

The woman regards you by titling her head to you. " you are the pale child.... The one that saved johten..."

She breathed in deeply and smiles.

" he isn't here.. He must be avoiding me still."

He removed his helm first before he said anything, wanting to see his mom face to face. "I'm sure that field worker needed johten's help." Thaes said, feeling uneasy for once to actually lie to the Tigress even if it's a white lie. "Nice to meet you though miss liliana." he added quickly to distance from the earlier statement and try to make things less akward. He looked back to his mother, still can't quiet grasp that he was standing right in front of her. "Hello...I'm still kind of surpised I'm even standing here." he admitted to her, not sure what to say or do. If anything he just want to go hug and never let go. "OH." he said as something reminded itself. He reaches down with one of his claws and pulls the cylinder out from it's holster. "Before, this was a something I wanted to give you as a gift, show you I still remembered. But considering what I have heard so far, it will probably serve more that just a center piece for a garden now." he said as he pushed in the password into the lock of the cylindercal device and then presented it out to his mother, letting her have the oppertunity to open it.

Your mother takes tyhe canister and it opens with a white mist, the sanguinem vertuntur stored with in.

she smiles wide aas she looks at her and deflates.

"we still need a surgeon.."

Thaes slowly raises his claw up into the air after his mother spoke, a small smile on his face now. "....I"m pretty good at that too mom." He offered to them now. Inside, He was very happy to already have a chance to actually help his mom. He looks to the tigeress. "Only if you're ok with me doing the operation of course miss." he said to Liliana

She smiles.

" I care not young lizard.... I would just like y husband to look upon me without shuddering is all I ask."

She turns as your mother smiles.

" I will assist you in the operation child, I will handle the medicinal aspects you handle the surgery ."

Thaes nodded in agreement. "That sounds good to me Mom. If everything is now all in order, shall we go and begin then?" he asked the two with a clap his hands, ready whenever they are.

Lilly is quickly sedated and she lays on the table as your mother waits beside her patiently, undoing the blindfold, revealing two striking jade eyes.

Thaes nodded after fitting on a different face cover, a featurless white finished mask that covered his entire snout to stop any drool from escaping and dripping down. He walked over to the operating table and picked up one of the sterilizing solutions with a gloved claw to safely sterilize the area around Liliana's eyes.
