He smiled to himself mischievously underneath the white helm. "One, help the varghens around the islands and maybe even eastern asia to take back control so they don't have to go to him for help or be at his mercy. Two, if I can 'acquire' his resources, he might not be the only one with a swarm around here." he told her, alluding to the fact that he had his own aspirations of creating his own swarm. Something he sort of picked up from his ghoul queen mother.

She laughs, an odd sound that sets your scales on edge.

"Remember thaes..make the minds before you make the bodies behind them."

Her laugh was always an odd thing to him, sending his a shiver through his spine and scales. But he did not find it unpleasent, afterall it's his mother. "Of course mom, you taught me after all." he said, a more pleaseant smile on his face now compared to the one earlier as he thought of some memories. "I guess I should let you go now? With all that is happening back home?" he said.

he laughs, handing you a apack.

"your mother wanted me to give you this..Fit it to Johten..Its a power pack like mine that will release the nanites...youll need it."

Thaes was somewhat startled as he whipped around and calmed a bit when he saw it was only Jarvan. "Yes, just letting someone know I still have a pulse." he said as he slipped the pda back into its' pocket and accepting the power pack device. "Hm, I would like to see how this works, but I doubt I would have the time to take it apart and reassemble it." he said as he examined the pack. He looked back to Jarven. "I wanted to ask, how have you been since I last saw you? Considering you seem to have watched over the village for awhile too it seems." he asked the tiger, first time he actually got to talk with Jarvan after several years.

Jarvan sighs.

"it seems like johten asked me to come as well...he is leaving the arvcchivist and some of the guard to hold the line....He says he wants the strongest to be seen upfront."

He sheathes his heavy broadwrod, resting his hand on the long katana at his waist.

"Ive been better...All the fighting helped me perfect my stylese....But i dont think it will be enough when those ghouls attack."

He smirks under his helm. "It'll be interesting being around you two again." he said to him. "Althought good or bad, that is the question." he said a little more uneasy as he remembered their past exploits when they were juveniles. "Have the ghouls around here become that much of a problem?" he asked him, becoming curious about it already.

Jarvan tests one of his blades, listwening to the whistle as it cleaves the air.

"yes and no...Why?"

"Just asking, could always rig up some form of counter measures for the village. Or if maybe there was a known hive somewhere around, I could something even more." he said as he cleans off a spot on the lenses of his helm. "Of course, I would need to find resources first and we need to go on this trip it seems." he said in a neutral tone. But inside, he could help but feel bitter of the whole thing.

Johten comes into view with the pack, a few of the ghouls consider him warily as you notice he has dressed differently.

He is masked, a feral silver image of a lion. His sword isn't the massive claymore , it is a heavily decorated zwei fitted with the words

"I would definetly like to visit that lab when we can then." Thaes told Jarvan, his curiosity spiking high in his mind. He turned and looked at what the ghouls could be uneasy about and his curiousity turned into confusiong. "Huh, never seen those before." he remarked pointing at the items. "What are they for?" he asked, hoping for an answer to the sudden use of livery.

"And there is a forgotten lab around, seems like our stay here will be more productive for us then I first thought." Thaes said to himself as they followed Johten. "Tell me Alpha, what have you and the pack seen around here then?" he asked the pale ghoul, wanting to know what sort of creature are around that could be studied.

"I know I should be afraid, but I'm more interested in grabbing a sample or two from it." he said with a bit of eagerness, his claws clicking together infront of him as they walked. "Although...I wonder why it's so interested in us if it can find prey elsewhere." he thought aloud as other thoughts ran in his reptilian brain.

"Hm, so it doesn't hunt by normal means, or normal line of thinking either. Interesting." Thaes noted as he walked with the group. "When was this thing first sighted?" he asked Johten, wanting to know more about this Stalk creature that has them on edge.

"It killed him the first time it was seen , ripped him in half and dragged him into the savannah."

Jarvan looks up at his older brtoher as a camp comes into cview in the distance.

Its huge, massive in its size, and standing inthe archway is a large figure.

He is built like he is carved from stone, A komodo like yourself , but he looks feral . In his hand he carries a mssive meathook, its razored edge glinting in the sun.

"Wait.......what?" Thaes said to the much larger Komodo. All other thoughts were made of secondary importance now as he focused on what was just said. "Ok...I'm not going to lie, this is new." he added, hoping someone would explain.
