Patriarchs are powerful, but a number have fallen during the centuries." suggested with as he scratched the end of his chin. "Or perhaps even sway one of them, it would not be the first time right?" he asked her, remembering the one she had persuaded long ago.

Nocturne sighs, walking to a tank where a ghoul is suspended.

" he hated humans more than he hated me..... But those three.... They hate with a passion that supersedes their knowledge of me... I can't place it... It's always baffled me."

He nodded and put on his white helm. It seal with clicks of magnetic locks and the eye pieces glowed red as the helmet powered up. "After you my Mistress." he said through the com pieces of the helm with bow and polite gesture for her to lead on.

She leads you through the facility without a word. The humans and menials spare her only a split second look before returning to their work.

Krieg whispers , tipping his head to her out of respect as he walks past.

She hisses sparing him a second as she leads you Into a completely dark viewing room. Inside, kneeling in the pitch black room a woman wearing a loose gown sits silently

"I guess it will be dealt with at a later time." he said quietly before they went through the doorway, his pale tail tapping the floor everynow and then as he walked with her. He keep silent as they entered the room since this was the first time he actually meet one of the Mistress's sisters and was not sure what to expect.

The woman looks impossibly young, her dark blue eyes snapping instantly toward you .

Around her, piles of biomass sit, untouched.


" freya... Sweetheart... Talk to me.."

The woman looks up at nocturnes voice and shakes her head.

The woman shakes her head again and the biomass lifts, obscuring the view of her.

His head cocked to one side as he watched the whole thing."Doesn't like to talk?" He asked nocturne, slightly confused by Freya's behaviour.

" I'd speak little of my sister used me as well.."

A voice whispers behind you. The next few moments I a blur, your face connects hard with the reinforced glass, cracking it as you fall to the floor.

Krieg stands over you , revolver raised, backing nocturne into a corner as several other shadows hold you down.

" I'd be silent of my sister trapped me... Killed my children.."

Nocturnes eyes narrow.

She spits venomously as krieg chambers a round.

" no nocturne ..... The only traitor here... Is you..."

Inside his helm, Thaes vision still swam. But he already gathered what was happening as he listened. He flicks his tongue out to press a switch hoping the frequency can get out to the cells and that the pack will show up in time. "So krieg, have you spoken to your sister recently?" He hissed through the comms of the helm, trying to switch Krieg's attention from the mistress to him for now.

There is a loud bang, and nocturne is flung back with a loud scream, her shoulder a bloodied ruin as krieg smiles at you.

He motions at his men to retrieve freya and crouches before you.

" and no I haven't thaes.... Augustus saw to that... You and olbrieg took a sick joy in doing it didn't you?"

Kriegs revolver loads again and he places the barrel gainsy your masks visor.

" your time ... And your mistresses time is quickly drawing to an end. I will expose you to Augustus... To inhotep if I have to.... But this game? It's slowly getting played out..."


His men secure freya with practiced precision and he fires a round into the ground beside you.

" take this as shadow companies first shot.... And a formal order of defection."

He spins a knife deftly in his hand and slams it into the ground between nocturnes legs.

He growls, vanishing without a word.

The moment Krieg and the shadows left was the moment Thaes sprang up from where he was restrained. He goes over where Nocturne laid, already having a claw on the medic container hooked onto other leg opposite of the refridgerated container. "Mistress Nocturne?" he said kneeling beside her.

She lays there in shock, her arm already healed.

" this is not good..."

She sits up and looks into the containment room.

" thaes...... Fuck yet took freya.."

She runs a hand through her hair.


" we are going to need a second queen.... One I can manipulate easily... Shadow company was out best trained and with them turning colors we are going to need bodies."

Seeing that the would already gone, he slid the medic container back into it's slot. "The to-do list grows and grows. The numbers problem can be solved in a number of ways but how would we find another queen?" he asked her. "Although I can see why Freya did not want to talk now." he said as he stood up. He held out a hand to help her up, not sure if she would accept or keep her prefernce of not being touched.

She stands, rubbing her elbows.

" we have one in containment ... But she's been seperate a fir so long shed have to be taken to her hive to be any form of useful to us."

Thaes mentally went over the list of things that need to be done, all of them highly important and time sensitive, and silently sighed to himself. He looked to Nocturne. "What should we do now Mistress?" he asked, pretty sure she had something in mind already.

We must get cyrah to her hive... Ho to the very bottom of containment, there put in the password Orpheus , it will disable the sleep emitter and wake her immediately .

She turns from you.

" I must get Augustus out of the facility and out of the country ... If he hears word of krieg we will be done for..."

She leaves without a word leaving the knife still planted firmly in the ground

He watched her leave before turning his attention to the knife sticking out of the floor. 'I wonder what Krieg meant by 'her knife'?' he asked himself. He goes to take it out of the floor to examine it himself. "If nothing else, always good to have a blade on hand." he reasoned to himself as he moves.

He sheathed the knife in one of the spare knife scabbards on his webbing before nodding to Olbrieg. "Alright, let's us move then, the pack can easily catch up." he said to olbrieg as he once again tires the switch for the frequency. While olbrieg alone was enough of an escort, Thaes wish to have some things more familiar with him right now.
