"they kill each time.....We can try to capture one with enough hunters, why brother?"

"If I can find out weakness of the things, it would save the effort, time, and not to mention people it would be needed to take those facilities that I would eventually need to get into." he told johten, filling his tiger brother of the thoughts going around in his head. "Not to mention I could get a hold of their d.n.a for our own creation or use, depending on thier mental states of course." he added as well.

the air dampens overhead as shale stands.

"so be it boy...I will rally the men...We will meet in johtens villiage in 5 hours....Be ready to receive us."

he leaves the tent as you feel the air dampen and johten grunts.

"it shouldnt be raining....It is the middle of the dry season.."

"Dry season....?" Thaes echoed him as the thoughts in his head came to a complete stop. It was only now he notice the humidity in the air. "Hm. This does not feel right." he said to himself before he began to walk outside, wanting to see what the skies looked like. Rainfall should be scarce to nonexistence for months. He pulled out his pda as his claws began clicking on it to see if he could pull anything up about any storms or such in the pacific as he walked out of the tent throne room.

The ksy is violent, dark black clouds surround you and in the distance you see something plummmeting to the ground.

It hits the ground with a cataclymsic boom, throwing up a huge plume of ash as a large crater is formed

Thaes said to himself as he stared over to the horizon where he saw the object fall to the earth, shoving the pda into his pocket again and straighten out his grey uniform. At that moment, his sense of curiosity was gnawing at him. "....It probably won't take long, just a quick walk and look. I got five hours anyways." he reasoned to himself as a smirk began creeping on his face, his claws clicking together in excitement. He pressed a button on the device he wore on his forearm that would single the pack of pale ghouls that he wanted them. He began making his way to the impact sight, the toxin rig active just for safety's sake.

the crater smolders, and a hard rain begins to fall, there, laying in the craters lays jessica.

The rain smears over her porelain frame and she looks at you tiredly.

Thaes's eyes went wide with surprise as he felt guilt wrap hard around his heart. "Jessica?!" He said quietly, his normally slithery voice cracking. He climbs over the lip of the now muddy crater, not paying any mind to the mud now being splashed upon his apparel and white scales that would normally infuriated him, going down to the bottom of the impact site to Jessica. "Why did you, how are you here, what's wro.. I'm sorry for everthing!" Thaes said, his thoughts and words spilling over each other as he tried to speak. He goes to pick her up out of the hole that was filling up with rain water and carry her out, trying not to accidently scratch her with his claws. "I'm sorry, let's get you out of the rain first." he said apologetically he tried to calm down despite his mind going back to the events that made all of this possible.

johten runs to yuour side and takes the bundle . "A godess....Not another one....Thaes...Thaes we have to take her now or she will die."


Shale comes outside wide eyed, staring at the bundle. "How...Why is a thundergodess here....

'Thunder goddess?' a question echoed in his mind. It was quickly put aside as his attention was on more urgent matters right now. "Yes I know Johten. We're not going to let her die again" he said as he tried to keep the hiss out of his tone, trying to keep his patience with the tiger. "Shale, you have any vehicles here? Walking back for hours is not an option right now." he asked the warlord.

" we have a truck used to carry food from the treatment plant ... Do you need it?"

"Indeed, we need to get back to the village now, it's the only place with a medical facility around here it seems." he said with a gesture for Shale to lead them to the truck since he would know. He walks beside Johten as he tried to watch over her. "Why are you here Jessica?" Still confused as to why she is, or why she came crashing down to earth.

she groans as johten lifts her into the truck and your brother, johten and father follow you in.

"hold onto your tail!"

he yells , kicking the machine into drive and taking off back into the wastes.

He did more than that. Thaes's claws dug into the upholstery as the acceleration hit him in the gut, his red eyes wide, startled. He kept quiet through most of the trip, constantly looking back towards Jessica to keep an eye on her condition. The one word she said earlier still echoing in his head. 'How is she sick? What could be failing?' he thought to himself. Then a thought came unbidden. 'At least I can do something good for her this time.'

you pull into the camp and johten instantly lifts jessica up.

"go get your mother...SHe knows what has to be done....Move it thaes!"

Johten growls, lifting jessica into the medical hut

Thaes was already out of the truck and heading towards the hospital facility, his pale tail twitching frantically behind him, to find his mother as Johten spoke. This would be one of the very few times he would admit that this was possibly out of his league, maybe. He made his way through the halls till he found his mother. "Mom, really going to need you this time it seems." he told, motioning her to follow her urgently.

"A good friend of my dropped by, and I mean literally, out of the sky." He told her as they walked the halls back out. "She was given the thor mutagen a long time ago, but now she's here and she seems very sick to the point of dying." he explained. "Oh, and bad temperment incarnate in scales and my brother I did not know exist came with us......Gage is not that bad though." he shrugged.

she nods as you run into the room and see johten sitting beside jessica. your mother quickly gets a tanfusion set and hisses.

"i need you to set her up for a transfusion...Shes going to need johtemns blood ...He is the only thing remotely similar to her bloodtype."

Thaes nodded as he grabbed what he needed, sterilization gel, needle, the intravenous line, ect. Reminded by the fact of Johten's unique blood, He mind briefly went back to a converstion from earlier with his mother, Nocturne. His eyes looked down to his own pouches of his belt and lab coat. Along with the refrigeration unit. 'This should provide amply opportunity to acquire a sample for her.' the thought came across his mind as he goes over to Jessica and set up the line into her arm. "I wasn't able to do anything to help you before, lets hope I can this time." he said.
