"Oh, that's.....that's just lovely." he said more to himself than anyone in the room with him, now understanding the situation he was really in despite it being several years ago. "But...It also sound like you were conscious to at least remember that, how recent was that deal you made with Daimon, the one you mentioned after you were zapped for the first time?" he wondered aloud, trying to make a timeline if possible.

Joten bristles as jarvan goes to stand between them.

 

"WHAT?!"

 

the bigger tiger growls as bjarl chuckles.

 

"oh....yes....YOur father is very much alive tiger...And helping the one known as augustus.."

"He's helping who?!" Thaes sort of yelped, almost dropping the tools he was using. Having two rather suprising pieces of news drop on him almost gave him what he could have swore was a heart attack. "But, but the pelt they showed me..." he said, refering to when Johten and Jarvan showed him the blades that opened this place, next to the pelt of what they assumed to be their father.

Johtens eyes narrow as bfjarl chuckles.

 

"YOu thought i killed your father?"

 

he chuckles and shakes his head as he reaches forward, pucling one of thaeses scales, he eats it and his bodies build changes.

"You can shed your skin? After having it mimic the exterior of another organism?" Thaes wondered aloud as he looked over Bjarl. 'that could be useful.' he thought to himself. "Why would he want to fake his death?" Thaes asked the obvious question. "To work with augustus?" He said, as if to answer that question with uncertainty.

"Augustus has a circle known as the ring of three....Three brilliant minds from various cultures......He wanted the father to cut all ties."

 

Johtens fur crackles moniously as jarvan taps his blades together.

 

"Thaes.....what is this he speaks of..is it real?"

"I've seen Augustus myself, but I don't think anyone heard of this trio he is apart of. I know I haven't, let alone the fact Malcor knew Augustus." Thaes admitted, shocked himself. "Is this why he left all of this, you in this vault, the blades for Johten and jarvan to find? Maybe he didn't want to cut all ties as cleanly as Augustus probably wanted." Thaes guess, making inference from what he knew so far now.

Bjarl chuckles.

Jothen growls and nearly leaps at the beast as he continues to chuckle.

 

"YOu think you boys are natrual users of the thorn mutigen?'

 

he shakes his head.

Thaes stood there with the specimen jar in his hands as something that should have been obvious for a long time clicked in his head. "...That's right...there is no natural user of the Thor mutagen...the only we on record in North America is jessica and that was forced into her. I should have remember you two when it came up." Thaes said, confirming what Bjarl had said. Perhaps Johten and Jarvan were created from their birth to handle the mutagen such as aberga was? "But what was his experiment then?" He wondered aloud looking at the swords.

Bjarl smiles and points to a room marked for doctors.

" go into that room.... And power up the computer.... The password is Damnation."

"Nothing ventured nothing gained." he mumbled to himself, not sure if he actually wants to make a discovery in this case. Setting aside the container on a nearby counter, doubting it posed much danger to anyone, and went to find the computer using the password. "Rather foreboding don't you think father?" he said unconsciously as he typed the password.

without input a movie pops up, showing macor sitting at the table, garbed in his hunter gear.

 

"if youre reading this ...Thaes youve come along way....And you dont have alot of time....I am working with Augustus and Altur kronen on a cure that should thin out the undead all over the world......But that isnt why you are here. YOure here for Johten..And Jarvan."

 

The two brothers lean agasint the wall and watch silently as the tiger continues.

 

"As you may have guessed..My children are the culmination of many years of work..... WIth a bodycount of specimens that would put old world testing to shame.."

 

jarvan thumbs his swords hilt as he listens.

 

"THe boys are the last in a long line of experiments....A way to bring the thor mutagen to occur naturally.... i had to perfect their genetic code over many years..Using many metals..And many mewans of diffusal."

 

YOur pda blinks and begins loading.

 

'I have just began loading all the information of the experiment to your pda....but i advise you quickly leave once the transfer is complete. There is a creature that has been hunting that information for a long time...And sent their best hunter... Do not let Yourself be caught...Go and do not come back to this place....Becasue i can guarentee you, none of you will leave alive."

 

without warning the comouter dies and the pda chimes.

 

Johten and jarvan look at each other and begin to argue as you see bjarl standing in the door.

 

'SOmething comes.....we go now."

"Don't have to tell me twice." Thaes said quickly as he stuffed his pda back into his pockets as he stood up to leave. "Hey! Argue when we get home we leave now!" he said to the two tigers in the best serious tone he could manage. In reality he was torn between his overwhelming curiosity and the fear that was about to surpass it. But the threat of the hunter Malcor mentioned only added a little, it was the newly downloaded information on his pda and what was said by Malcor. 'Years? specimen body count? There was no why he could have conducted the experiments on them during their childhood, he was there most of the time for it, right?' he thought to himself. "What did you do?" he said under his breath as they now vacated the facility. He has done his own share of what others would call morally questionable experiments, but the fact it involved the few people he gave a damn about again left him with a lead weight in his stomach.

you all begin to run, and the tunnel is suddenly wracked by a vicious explosion

 

suddenly, you hear a high cry, a beastial roar of rage and as you stop, you see a creature silohueted by light. He is easily twice Johtens size tall, long locks of scale hair hang from its face and in its hand is gripped a wicked blade. he turns and sees you, breaking into a mad dash as jarvan pulls you along.

 

'JUNGLE HUNTER!'

 

he pants in fear.

Without giving even a second glance at the thing, Thaes raced down the hall along with Jarvan without needing much motivation. 'Is that thing sentient? Has it been waiting all this time for a signal? Does it craft and use tools? And what is a jungle hunter?' were all the questions that swam in his mind that he had to ignore right now for the sake of running for his life.

suddenly johten reaches out, and stops. YOu hear a meaty thud and see a long length of chain attached to a hooked barb embedded in his arm, and the tiger stands directly behind you, gritting his teeth.

 

"How klong...would it take for your weird monsters brother.."

 

Johten growls as the creature comes into view, its face masked as it ysanks on the chain, trying to pull johten.

"A couple of minutes, at the least." He told him, fiddling with his arm mounted computer system to send a signal to his brood of pale ghouls. He felt growing regret in sending them against this thing, feeling as if it was a certain death for them. "I'm sorry." He whispered said as the signal was sent.

he says, his eyes glowing as a violejnt current runs througthe chain making the creature screaam in pain.

 

'its to bring that thing with us..."

 

Jarvan draws his blades and smirks.

 

"Get someplace to hide thaes...Weve got this."

"I hope you do." Thaes said as he walked backwards from the confrontation that was about to unfold between the Tigers and the reptilian creature ahead of them. He took cover behind an overturned desk as he worked with his device once more, this time to have a through scan of the Hunter's biology and see what it was for himself. "If worse comes to worse, I can always just spit in it's eyes." he said to himself as he primed the toxin caster rig for use, still unsure how well the thing's reflexes are.

Incredibly dense bones with blood that has an impossibly high sulfuric content. as you watch over the stump you can see jarvan and johten moving in perfexct unision, their blades dancing and repelling the creatures humming vibroblades until one of your white ghouls comes up behind you, cocking its head as it awaits command.
