[Armoured Priest]

"And it has weapons like that?" Thaes asked a loud as he read the results of the scan. "What can you tell me about them Bjaarl, like how to take one down alive possibly?" he asked as Bjaarl. He wanted to know something that his pale ghouls could use to their advantage to bring the thing back in alive as much as possible

youre going to have to knock it out...and restrain it well...They are a warrior race..Made by..SOmething..Neither human nor ghoul."

 

He clicks his teeth nervously.

"That's going to rather fun figuring out." Thaes to himself, without a hint of sarcasm. Though he doubted Bjaarl being anxious about the things was a good sign. He looked over to the commanding pale ghoul. "Find steel cables we can used to bind the hunter, work in pairs to wrap it's arms and legs, Johten and Jarvan should be able to knock it out with a hard enough shock. Understood?"

the nod and quicklky move out as you see johten knocked over by the hunter.

 

It goes over him and draws a wicked blade, but seconds later it is sent sprawling by jarvans shoulder tackle.

 

"ANY TIME THAES."

 

He yells, his weapons sparking from being used too much too fast.

 

"Johten stands and strikes the hunter with a bolt, making it groan in pain

"I want you both to give a heavy jolt to it's head when I said so, they'll be ready soon." He told them. He watch both the combat and for signs of the pale ghouls getting ready with the cable to tie the Hunter down. "Why do I always have to improvise this kind of shit..." he hissed to himself.

the hunter moves clumsily, but he is equal to the deadly tiger in terms of skill and power. For a long time the trio dances, until a sharp jab casues him to bend over.

 

without being bidden, and with suprising fluidity and power, both johten and jarvan connect with brutal punches to either side of the hunters head, their attack answered by a loud thunder clap

"Or you can just do that, that works. Round up the subject, going to give him a new home." he declared as he stood up and away from his wooden shelter he was behind, signalling the pale ghouls to go ahead and secure the new specimen. "If this wasn't so terrifying, I would be celebrating like it was Christmas with all new things I get to analyze and understand." He said with an exasperated forced laugh that came out more like a hiss.

the hunter slumps forward, twitching as the ghouls bind him, jarvan nurses his hand and winces as you notice a broken wrist.

 

"Absorbving a punch from my brother...Is like trying to stop a tumbling boulder with your fist.."

"At least it was only a sprain wrist, could have been a lot worst." Thaes said as he moved forward, now braver than before now the creature was out cold for now. He steps over to Jarvan to look over his wrist. "Could probably fix that if you want." He offered before he would examine the Hunter much closer. Friends before specimens.

jarvan winces and removes his gauntlets.

 

"yea..would be nice thaes."

 

he says, wincing at the sharp pain in his arm

Gently making Jarvan extend his arm further out, Thaes examined his wrist a little more to make sure a ligament wasn't torn and that it was worse than what Jarvan was feeling. Opening a pouch that had a red cross printed on it, he pulled out a number of items. He squeezed a rectangular plastic pack and applied it to the wrist while wrapping it up firmly with a bandage roll with free hand. "This ice pack should work for an hour, I would use a medical brace but I don't exactly have one." he said as he finished wrapping. He pullout a bottle next, rattling as it moved. "A couple of  these will help with swelling and stop the pain for awhile. Try not to move it too much the next 48 hours, but knowing you two I'm not holding my breath." he said as he offered him a couple of anti-flammatory painkillers. "Is he....her, it, secured yet?" he asked about the hunter.

the ghouls have bound the creature , and with a suprising, and slightly terrifying show of strength , Johten hefts the unconcious creatures by one of the restraints and holds it over his shoulder.

 

"He gonna be ok?"

 

Johten asks as jarvan takes the sheath of one of his blades and fashions a brace.

 

"RIght as fucking rain."

"He'll be fine now. Let's get this Hunter creature into the truck and find a place to secure it back home, have a lot of info to sort through now." Thaes said, walking himself now outside while hoping there were no more security measures made by malcor.

the creature hisses idly as jarvan and johten move silently, tossing it into the back of the truck as johten sits with it.

 

Up front thaes."

 

Jarvan says as he sits in the drivers seat and bjarl sits on the roof. 

 

"i need a shower."

 

He huffs as the car roars to life

Thaes went to the front passenger seat and sat, taking out his device. "The drive is long, so let's see what I can get out of this while we ride back home." he said as he flicked it on and readied for the trip, buckling himself in.

as the truvk bumps and goes you see johten frequently slap the hunter, agitating it but he talks to it in a thick accent that you know but do not understand.

 

Jarvans ears perk and he shakes his head , chuckling dryly as your attempts to decode the drive simply casue it to shut down due to lack of power

Thaes sighed in frustration. "I told the IT department the battery life on these things suck." Thaes hissed as he put the source of annoyance away before laying back. He gave a casual glace over his shoulder at Johten and the hunter and then to Jarvan. "What's he saying to the hunter?" he asked him, trying to find something else to preoccupy his time.

jarvan smiles.

 

"Hes telling him to calm down...And that if he even moves wrong hell put hot tongs in his stomach ."

"So, the hunters have a language. Anyone know where they come from?" he asked Jarvan, looking at the hunter in the back. "Malcor mentioned in his recording something else sending it to find this information." Thaes reminded them. He wondered to himself if it would be possible to get any sort of information out of this thing using Jarvan and Johten as  translators.

the thing hisses and looks away, before a brutal backhand makes the creatures eyes roll and it hisses in anger.

 

Johten speaks inthe harsh tongue and the creature listes reluctantly before it begins to speak.

 

"he says they want the information ...Becasue it is not meant for us....That his kind has guarded it for a long time..ANd that he has to secure it."
