"Forgive w-..." Was all that Thaes managed to to say before being losing conciousness. That was till he heard the voice questioning him. "I think the ability just fucking zapped me into sleep, which doesn't work like that!" He grumbled.

"the ability to complete this miracle.."

a figure comes into view, it is impossibly huge, impossibly big in a world where he is impossibly small, its form wavers in and out of sight as if it had no tangible form, but it resonates an ancient intelligence, but its word make his entire consciousness shake.

" as you are now...the boy will die now on the table.... I need somone like you...SOmone who can turn the tide against the fools playing the game.... Do you accept."

The Komodo's neck couldn't crane farther up and yet the figure still loomed almost out of sight, he could feel his body shake. Or is it something deeper, something he never paid much mind to before, his conscious? His soul? Thaes had no time to think on the sheer fear in him and how out of place he felt just being noticed by this....entity. "....Yes." he said almost without thinking, not sure if he said his answer because he desperately wants to save the child of his friend or just to not have this thing's attention any longer than he must. "But...who are you?" he couldn't help ask, as even with the fear, his curiosity still held.

that titanic being comes closer, and for one second, one horrfying moment, it comes into enough focus that the komodos body recoils in abject inhuman fear. He saw the darkness of the seas, ancient beings asleep till the end of time...He saw madness...

he barely noticed a single tendril above his head for a momentbut it touches him, and in that instant, operations that baffled him made sense, he knew exactly where to cut, where to subsititue, to make this operation work.

"It is done...a taste of our pact...I will return soon."

the titanic beast vanishes, and thaes snaps awake as if he fell from the bed

Thaes could feel his heart racing as he laid there in bed, claws clutching at bed sheets in a futile attempt at feeling anchored in reality while little tears ran down from the corners of his eyes. There was no way he could rationalize to himself that all of that was just a nightmare brought on by a electrical zap, but there was no way he would say what he thought out loud. Not after the gift he was given. Giving himself a moment to go over to a near by sink to wash his face of any tears and spittle from his face to make himself presentable and that nothing happened to him, he goes to find Johten and Jacob. There was work to be done, now.

you find johten sitting beside the boy, and beside it, a young body that looks remarkably like a younger caliphas.

"YOu look refreshed."

the tiger says with a smile, the boy cocking his head as he looks at the komodo.

"your...aura is different.."

he says with a confused look.

"Needed the sleep more than I thought, thank you Johten." Thaes played it, more calmed now than minutes earlier. "Now, if everyone believes they are ready I will get the instruments set up and finally fix what I caused here." He declared, feeling more confident in himself than he really felt before, the 'gift' he was given still fresh in his mind. If this was truly only the start, he wondered what secrets the....dreaming one, will gift him. Wether or not he was ready for the was another question he would have to answer to himself at another time.

johten goes to the battery and begins to charge it, the anestesia beginning to work quickly on jacob.

 

you see everything, your hands mve in blurs, but before you begin the first cut , you know something. The dose is too low. you cant tell how you know this but you know its too low, and if you continue, jacob will wake up halfway through and the surgery will fail.

Thaes reached over to increase the anesthesia dose to a higher amount, trusting the knowledge that was given to him, though he must later see if he could understand why the initial dose wasn't enough to begin with. "Alright now that's fixed." He said to himself under his breath as he picked up the scalpel to begin the work.

you find where the brains are melded, the stitwork that you thought wouldve been perfect, was nothing more cruel crack work in front of the knowlege that you now held, seperating it, you go over to the bucket of organs and find what looks like a lump of flesh, but its a jewel. Its known as a gcell, a organ grown within ghouls that helps it replicate bodyparts and other necessary things .

 

 

 

with jacob and joeseph successfully seperated, and the electricity stable, you can prioritize jacob and fully heal him and guarentee his survivl, or stabilize him for now and move to the body made for joeseph.

 

 

at this point it seems johten is maintaining the battery without a problem

There was much for the Albino to take in, the fact his old work looking abhorrent to him now and the idea of what the ghoul gem might hold in store to his newly enhanced knowledge. Pushing these thoughts away, Thaes remembers promising to save both of them, and it was one he was going to keep. He made sure to stabilize Jacob as best as he could so he can go and focus on bringing Joseph back to the living with the new body.

you easily stabilize the boy and begin working on the fresh body, kanis work is flawless, the human within bearing no appreciable marks or flaws. 


as you get into the skull you see that it is mostly intact, but you need to refirte the synapses, and to do that johten or somone of equal power would need to hold a current long enough to refire the neuro systome, but not enough to fry it

"Johten, we need to refire the synapses with a continuous current for a set duration." He informed him. "I'll signal you when to start and when to stop." Thaes readied to keep a sharp eye on the synapses and nervous system before speaking again. "And, start." He signaled.

the tiger follows this flawlessly and the boys mind becomes to come alive, networks of tunnels and mental cappelaries opening as you begi nto attach the little bit of matter to its new home.

 

 

the work is grueling, minutes pass in eternities as you single handedly restitch and rebuild this damaged brain until dinally......... The brain fully awakens...the heart begins to thump...but it stops, requiring something to give it enough power to pump a beat

"Johten, I need a shock to the heart, get it pumping again." Thaes told him quickly while keeping his eyes on the vitals and the boy's mind. They were so close, so damn close now, he thought in his mind with frantic energy despite the tiredness his body felt. He can, and he will, save both of them here and now.

at this point you can see that the tigers body is being pushed. Hes been holding a current since the beginning of the operation, and his body is wavering. Without complaint he goes to do it, but in that moment yo usee two futurees. One , he isnt able to get enough of a charge, two he adds too much and kills the poor boy. at this point it would be better to stabilize the body and find another source of current, or risk johten being unable to do it.

Thaes makes his decision within only a few moment, putting a hand up to Johten to signal him to cease. "No, you're at the edge as it is, we need another source of power. Jarvan! I need your assistance!  I need his heart shocked back to life."

the second tiger comes in, cocking his head.

"Johten would be..."

he begins and stops as johten slumps, breathing hard.

 

"ok....I wont be able to hold it that long though."

he places his hands on the boys chest and begins to focus, channeling his energy to the body and suddenly, the heartbeat is felt. The boy lurches awake, his eyes wild and wide, looking all over the room and trying to focus on something.

"Where am i..Who am i..."

 

he stammers as johten looks up tiredly.

"Wheres My brother...Where is he?!"

"Joseph, this is thaes speaking, Jacob is stabilized and next to you, I will begin working on him now, remain calm and still. We're still in a delicate place right now." Thaes explained calmly as he went over to Jacob now to help the boy now recover from what was basically a wound in his brain and head. The knowledge he was gifted had helped him greatly and hoped it still will help him in saving this boy as well as the only thing that matter to him now was saving both of them, not caring the personal cost to himself right now.

"the wound in him is not psyical...It is of the soul...Two souls smashed into one like diamonds leaving one cracked and damaged."

the vpoice directs him, its impossible intelligence making him look out into the herb garden.

"direct the tigerr to get you nightshade, muckroot, ginger and fresh milk...Grind them into a poultice and apply it to his chest...This will heal his soul, however...The wound to his brain will require some non purposed flesh from the arachnid creator that made the other boys body.....Go to her quickly and ask her for a peice of flesh that is not coded to be anything."

the procedures specifics burn into your mind , showing how the being plans to invoke its will on the flesh, shaping as a perfect living patch to repair the mental nueronsw of the sleeping child
