"I think I see what you mean." He said to her as he found a more comfortable position to sit now. "Well since we have a while yet, what about you? Anything you like to share?" He asked her.

cyera touches your hand gently.

"for another time scaled one...For another place..For now rest..The silencers all seem to have taken to sleep, you should as well..I will awaken you at the hive."

He looked around before he looked back to cyera. "Alright, but if anything seems weird of just off, feel free to wake me up ok?." he said to her as he laid back into his seat. He was still feeling slightly jumpy after the multiple surprises back at the facility.

Sleep falls over you, engulfing you completely. Dreams break the silence as you see kriegs figure , staring at you through the darkness.

" soon ..."

He whispers, his voice breathy and quiet.

" soon enough scaled one.."

"....Why do I doubt that this is a dream anymore?" Theas asked himself quietly as his eyes looked around to see where the hell he is. Afte a moment of hesitation he speaks aloud. "Soon? soon for what?" he asked Krieg, thinking krieg was talking about his death.

you begin to come to, and you notice, it is no dream.

Everything in the apc is dead. The silencers lay spralwed out with slit throats and their blood pools at your boots in a thick puddle.

"So easily lead into a traap.....Ho siht has lost its way.....They gave me what i wanted to easily."

"I am going to die right now, aren't I?" He asked him as he sat where he was. The sent of blood was very over powering without his helm on, more so to him as his tongue flickering in and out. His eyes looked over to see if Cyera is fine or was just like the silencers, hoping she was alright.

cyera sleeps, astoundingly well, but the inside of the apc glows ominously .

Kriegs suits eyes glow darkly.

"tell me thaes...What do you hope to accomplish .."

"Huh, this is the first time someone asked me that." he admitted. He sat there as he thought about the question that Krieg asked. ".....After the suspicion and hatred from most vaurghen, and a freak to be studied or chased off by humans? I honestly just want to be left alone and studied as much as I possibly can. Nocturne offered that chance." he explained to him. "I supposed you were around for that last bit of the story, which would let you figure out why I do the things for her." he added then. His eyes shifted to cyera then to Krieg. "Are you going to hurt her?" he asked, not really expecting an answer, more of a physical response.

[Thugren]

Krieg smiles behind his helm.

" no thaes... I won't.... Your stranded here... The drivers dead, your escorts dead... You're out here with five of your monsters and a weak queen. If you want to survive you will earn it."

The door of the apc grinds open.

" you are in a flayer ghoul migration path... Your ghouls are asleep outside..."

He stands and leaves.

" stay safe."

Thaes watches him leave with a bit of suprise on his face. "Flayers.....shit." he hissed. He looks down to the still sleeping ghoul queen. "Cyera, madam, you need to wake up now." he says quietly as he nudges her lightly with a claw on her shoulder and grabbing his helm with the other one.

[Thugren]

" fI've more minutes nocturne..."

Cyera mumbles. , swatting at your hand .

" we can move the herd in a minute.... It's not like they are going anywhere

"Really?" He said in disbelif as cyera mumbled in her sleep. "You know what, fine." He sighed before putting the white helm on. "If you really do sleep that heavily, then you shouldn't mind." He reasoned as he gently picked her up and carried her out of the APC.

The ghouls perk up as you come outside. They move around you protectively.

" ordersssssss..... Fast master... Many come..."

"We move out of the migration path and keep heading toward the hive." He told them as he started to move out. "Hopefully we'll come across a ho siht outpost and commendeer transport." He added.

You manage to get to higher ground quickly, moving out of the migration path with enough time that the flayers fall upon the apc with a wild fury, gorging on the dead within with wild abandon

Thaes watched the feeding frenzy with a bit of morbid fascination from the brush cover where they stood. "You all have the 'basic firearms operations' programs still within your implants, correct?" he asked one of the modified pack ghouls, trying to remember if the pack recieved them or not.

The alpha, a hulking flayer cracks it's jaw.

Cyera stirs, wiping her eyes.

" um... Why an I laying on the ground... Where is the apc.."

She looks up seeing the flayers gorging .

" oh.. Well... Fuck.. What happened to our escort."
